- conditions were very good between Sheffield and Bury St Edmunds and Wes suggest trying to receive a rattlegram
rattlegram transmits short text messages as COFDMTV encoded audio and is based on open source software and can be found and downloaded from the app store
pretty cool app and the distance covered
I think it's a good app it's definitely going to be useful in the world radio and seems to be reliable and with out to many errors

@dave-26ct475 tried to access it but having difficulties trying to register never get email confirmation
I had the same issue with the original FRN It didn't seem like my Gmail address and someone done it via their email address. There are some problems with the old FRN I don't think It's not been maintained as I should be
all the radio gateways on 00english network have in the last month have moved over to the alternative frn @ freeradionetwork.de/ you will have click on the English tab to translate their is also an android version of frn at that link

Would this work better with an audio cable? Really cool
I think it could be a benefit to do it with an audio cable I think the only problem would be getting the audio levels just right one problem I have found is if you try send a message through a system that uses any sort of audio compression for example Zello network radio the message does not go through but you can play CZcams video and decode the message
from what I have read about the application it was designed as simple text messaging system so all you needed is a android phone and a radio
