- Downtown South Haven is a very pretty harbor town. Its known for its beaches ,boating and blueberries. Its a great summer destination spot. You can stroll downtown for it shops, galleries and museums. South Haven is also very pet friendly. They have a dog park called South Haven Bark Park just outside of downtown. You can take a walk out to the South Pier Lighthouse. its a great spot for a photo, and to watch a sunset.

We went there in 2019! My sister and her husband planned to go, and we decided to go last minute with them, we just got a camper so we brought it along. We stayed in an RV park and we all slept in the camper, I loved it. Our camper neighbors were awesome. We had a nice weekend enjoying the beach and shopping. I would definitely go back.
My wife and I love going to South Haven. They have great art fair in July that we love going too. We like to stay at the KOA in South Haven and we get a cabin there. We love it. South Haven is a nice town. Glad you enjoyed the video. Have a great day. Tom & Debbie
@@RoamingMichiganTogether Do you guys live in Michigan or out of state? We live near the Detroit area ourselves. I’ll have to look into the KOA there because I wanted to go back this summer and make it a kid’s trip for my son and daughter. I think they would love it. I also love arts and crafts so we may have to go in July to check it out. Thank you for the tips!

Great Job!!! You actually did exactly what we do every time we go. (especially Decadent Dogs) we bring our dog right in, they give him lots of love and treats. We stay at Old Harbor Inn. Thanks, we sure have been missing our trips there. Hubby complimented your camera skills.
My wife and I love visiting South Haven. We try to go during the art fair which I believe is in July. When we film this the art fair was canceled due to Covid-19. Can you stay at old harbor inn with your dog? Looking for somewhere to stay with mine when we go
@@peggygreen585 no, sorry, I realize I worded that wrong.. we no longer can stay there if we have Auggie with us. There is a CLEAN but OLD motel on the hwy into town that lets us bring our dog. If you are not fussy.. It is clean and the owners are very nice. Great Lakes Inn & suites.
