He is the best stand up comedian. He is always funny.
He’s up there for consistency, and manages to do clean, universally relatable material. I worked as a bouncer at a venue many years ago where he did a surprise guest spot. I won’t embarrass the comedian who was the headliner, but Gaffigan killed so hard during his set people were crying. This one middle-aged black woman was laughing uncontrollably, clapping her hands and wiping her eyes through the whole 10 minutes. The headliner got on-the person these people paid to see-and had a mediocre set, so about 20% of the audience walked out during his performance. Almost felt bad for him. What a tough act to follow.
The bus driver's zodiac sign was Cancer.

I remember when I took creative writing the day after each assignment we'd spend it having each person read what they wrote. One of the early assignments was to write an "about me" poem. I thought I'd be creative and incorporate my astrology sign in it. So we're all reading our work to the class and it's my turn to go and in front of everyone I read the title, "The son of cancer". Took me a moment to realize that that title could be taken differently. We were always quiet and respectful to each other when reading but this was dead quiet, and so many looked shocked. About 10 seconds passed before it clicked and I added, "Um, it's the astrology sign. Cancer the crab."

2 years ago on the day I got the stitches out of my face after Moh's, there was an accident and my toe was crushed. when each medical person came in they said, careful of her poison ivy....was a crappy stretch

I don’t find this to be funny. My sweet dad suffered horribly from pancreatic cancer. There was nothing humorous about daily vomiting and severe pain. Some subjects should be off limits.
