- I traveled to Galveston, Texas, to go fishing at a legendary spot, 120 miles offshore, known as the Flower Gardens. This place has some of the largest wahoo in the world. This fishing trip was by far the greatest wahoo fishing adventure of my life.

@@isthismyfaultto catch tuna in Texas where I’m at you have to go 120 miles offshore to a rig called boomvang and we have to bring a 100 gallon bladder tank it’s a haul it sucks and the yellow fin might not even be there

Had an unforgettable trip out of dolphin docks port aransas. 60hr trip, 110 wahoo all absolute STUDS. Flower gardens is a magical land for big wahoo

Need to do a 56 hr trip out to the floaters for some yellows.. we don’t necessarily grow them big in Texas 80# is my biggest but the popper bite at night is awesome..

Big wahoo are a fish of a lifetime for sure. Great battles on those. Only wish I could watch someone battle one while holding the rod free from the rod holder or harness.😎
We pulled a 6ft Wahoo out of that area last year, nearly ran our spool out.

first trip out to the gardens i got a 44 wahoo and a 25 red snapper at one of the rigs nice spot to sleep on a beanbag and stargaze too
120 Miles is crazy I don't know how people do it, paying close to a million dollars on a boat just to need to pay another $2500 just on gas to go on a single fishing trip.
