Mirakl + commercetools demo session using the McFadyen Marketplace Connector

This is a demo of the Mirakl marketplace platform integrated with the commercetools ecommerce platform using McFadyen Digital's Marketplace Connector accelerator. The demo session is lead by McFadyen's Adam Thibodeaux and also features Mirakl's Tzipi Avioz and commercetool's Chirstopher Holley. It was filmed at the Mirakl booth at Shoptalk 2023 in Las Vegas, NV on Match 27th, 2023.
This demo shows the commercetools ecommerce platform working with a headless front-end to display a mix of first party seller and third-party seller products, adding those products to a cart, checking out, then showing what that looks like in the Mirakl backend. As multi-seller capabilities are not native to most ecommerce platforms, commercetools included, this integration is key to enabling third-party marketplace sales at-scale. The Mirakl functionality is what enables third-parties to list their products, accept orders, get paid for those orders, and handle any returns or customer service issues. McFadyen Digital built The Marketplace Connector for Mirakl and commercetools as an accelerator for the integration of these two platforms, saving up to 30% of the integration time if starting from scratch.
