This is how you do show videos. Not just show the models but show the people and add an interview here and there. Great job!
Thank you. I have to say that I was very influenced by how Tim @ Throttle Power does his show videos.
Is there a separate section for guys who build and add there own 3 d modes? Should be. I’m just a home custom with some pro tech.
Oh wow, great builds on the tables!! 👍
What a FUN show, that's on on my Bucket list to go to!! 👍🙂
You have to, Tim. It would be so much fun.
@@TheLukaCeeChannel I will, but gotta make it a 2 day stay (or more). 1st day at Mooneyes then the museum, 2nd day the model contest!
That was a cool show. Glad to have met you and maybe we will see you again next year.
Oh you will. Along with other SoCal shows.
Some great models... it always blows my mind how the best builders typically have the best immagination. Great ideas... the service truck... love that one...
Great show coverage and congrats to all the winners & participants!! The BEST line of the entire video was: 'R u ready?? No, I have to pee!!!!' EPIC!!!
Nice video. It was nice to see the great models, and the conversations you had with people. Thanks for sharing.
Right on!!
You Arizona Mafia guys really took home some hardware! 🏆 🏆🏆🏆
Congratulations to your guys!
Wish I would have run over and checked it out.
Thanks for the great video!
It was nice to see you at the show! I was just leaving as you were arriving. By the looks of it, I should've hung around. The party was just getting started. lol. This is by far my favorite show in the area. It's always a good time but this one seemed to stand out. Maybe it was because of all the of the lockdowns and postponements but people were ready to come out, support and be seen. I couldn't believe how much talent showed up. It was loaded with mind blowing builds, amazing builders and lots of shop talk. You can't come here and go home empty handed. I always find something to add to the stash. There's something for everyone. Anyone that hasn't seen this show before has to put it on the list. It's an absolute must see.
Great eye candy Luka. I'm glad to see our you tube community so well represented.
Good stuff. Thanks & congrats to all who earned awards.
So Cool!!! That looked like a great time!!
It was Matthew
Awesome video Luka. That junk yard diorama was fantastic. Ron
Nice video coverage of the show. My big brother influenced me a lot too. Thanks for the ink.
Thanks Bro!
Beautiful builds . If There's one very important thing in this hobby that I've learned is that you have to have patience. You can't rush it because they will look like crap. You have to take your time . The end results are so worth it. These builds take months but you see the results. Amazing.
you guys are on fire...keep these videos coming, enjoy every second.
Looks like a ton of fun.
Looks like a blast! Likely some great deals too!
I agree Calvin!!
Lots and lots of cool plastic!
Amazing models
How it all started for me. I started making models from 7 years old up till the time I went into the service at 18. I had a boxes and boxes of bodies and parts but I only had one car together at a time. And it always was a 57 Chevy
Now at 68 I have a big 57 that is now going through its final rendition before the end of internal combustion engines. Its going to be one wild gasser. And I'll be " Driving Miss Crazy" .
My last rendition is on my channel its pretty wild and a lot of fun drag racing it and
It all started with a model.
I would of loved to see these models. Thanks for posting this and the models are unbelievable.
I like the sound of that next rendition, Randy. I already loved your car. I'm subbed to you. You got on my buddy, Tim's channel, Throttle Power. Over at the Tri Five Nats. I'm thinking about going to that with him next year. Let me know if you are ever in Phoenix for an event. Love your car. I want a 57 so bad. Thanks for watching, Budd.
WOOHOO!! Big Congrats to Dave!!! Awesome cars and venders! GREAT coverage bro!!
😀😀THANK YOU PUTTING VERY GOOD MODEL VIDEO ; I ENJOY MODEL BUILD TO 30 BRAND NEW BOX MODELS HAVE 20 YEARS
Just another comment if I may...Thanks for taking us all along with you on this showing. I would love to attend one of these someday. I loved all the footage of incredible builds and interactions with the builders themselves. Interesting as most there are older adults, no surprise for sure. I really liked the interview of the beautiful red truck builder, little younger and interesting how high tech making of 3D parts is now here. I think there should be a category of 15 and younger builds to help promote more younger age interest. Too many great builds to even try to say this one is best of show. That 69 RS Camaro convertible was a masterpiece, the filled in rear window, candy paint Impala very cool and impressive. List of wow builds were endless!
crazy , i remember buying these kits at Walmart for 10 bucks a piece when i was a kid.
Just amazing model builds! Interesting just how many cars had no decals.
Awesome love seeing Dave win
Yeah. That was super cool
Thx for the walk through an the interviews as well as the shout outs for the links to the businesses that carry aftermarket parts! An where we can order from the websites!
Awesome coverage. Great models and builders. Thanks for sharing Luka
Thanks that’s great fun
I would hate to be a judge at this event, so many absolutely beautiful works of art.
Me too, man.
Wow Luca that was a treat to see all those amazing models. Thank you!
Really well taped, produced and edited video of the model show. I thoroughly enjoyed this from start to finish, thanks.
Thank you. I really do appreciate that.
Great show, thanks for going and showing..........you referred to a fellow Jim Bunch as a "Model Car Star" , that is a nice compliment Luca. Cheers
He is
Looks like it was a Great show!!! Thanks for sharing
Awesome show a lot of awesome builds and that awesome that you guys club came with the best in show award huge congrats to you all
I remember growing up in the 80s you could buy a lot of these models at Wallmart, they would have a isle of them, they were like 5 to 10 dollars back then! I’m sure they don’t sell them anymore! I remember buying cabover semi trucks, 4x4 pickups, etc back then! I had a Dodge 4x4 pulling truck! These things are expensive now!
This pandemic is the cause of this. I got sticker shock when I recently just got back in this hobby and I couldn't believe the prices. I remember just a few years back walking into an ac Moore with a 40 percent coupon and getting awesome kits for under ten bucks
STREET IS NEAT!!!!!
Fantastic models!
The "World's fastest van" gets the "Coolest " car award from me.
Overall, my favorite was the "Flash Gordon"
Great video, thank you!
These guys are phenomenal! The details and paints are incredible!
Awesome vid, Luka! Don't know if that Petty Blue '65 Plymouth Barracuda in your opening shot is one of the real deals or just a tribute car in honor of King Richard (his original cars had eight chromed velocity stacks sticking up through the front hood and different sponsor decals on the rear quarter panels), but for anyone out there who wasn't aware of Petty's one year stint in NHRA match drag racing, Petty left NASCAR for one year (1965) in favor of NHRA drag racing when NASCAR's Bill France decided to ban the Chrysler 426-cid hemi power plant due to its dominance up through the 1964 season. Petty then decided to run a 426-cid hemi-prepped Barracuda for the 1965 NHRA drag racing season instead. It was a one year stint only, as The King returned to stock car racing in 1966 after France rescinded the ban on the 426-cid Chrysler hemi engines, due mainly to a significant drop in fan attendance at the NASCAR events during the 1965 racing season. 😄👍🇺🇸
Fantasic models ,the Cyclops chopper trike model is a copy of the real thing that was built in Australia in the seventies and it makes a brief appearance in Mad Max 1 and Street Choppers magazine . One day I will return to building models again, great video!
Oh No Kidding! That is why it attracted me and looked so familiar. If I would have noticed the Galaxie tail lights. I would have gotten it. Thanks for the update.
Hell of a video and great turn out for the mafia gang! Glad to see a good amount of awards went to Phoenix. When are you gonna build some new builds and take them to contests? You gotta represent the mafia gang too!
I have 4 plans to have there next year. This show got me so amped up about model car building. Along with getting with my old buddy, Jim Bunch. The absolute highlight of my day.
What true Artists, Congratulations to all the winners 🏆 I only wish I could be that good. Great Video Matt. 👍
I have the same model as the title image, the Hot Rod '50 Austin Coupe. Revell released it in 1985.

Thanks for the model show coverage. The shows around here have been cancelled. I love buying from thevendors. The best deals!
Very cool journalistic coverage of the show!
As a kid I used to love that weekly series Mannix , I know it sound weird but that show and shows like Barretta , probably spelled that wrong , but I always watched shows like that as a kid. Of course back in those days we didn’t have a lot of channels to choose from until cable finally came to our state and city.
Cool model.
👍👍👍✌️✌️✌️
A lot nice builds there
Where is this at ? When is the next convention? Information please
THANK GOD, other wrinkled, sparsely grey haired guys going ga-ga over models. I am not alone, subscribed instantly.
Nice vidéo
I still have my General Lee. Still in the box. Unfortunately, I just had to open it a few years ago. I took it out and looked it over, and put it all back in... but its all there, and everything including the box is mint. I keep it in a closed cabinet to protect it from sunlight.
Whats it worth?
Also, I'd love to find a 73 Lemans or GTO. The closest I've ever found is a 73 Grand Am.
I miss modeling. Just don't have the room to do it anymore.
I'm looking for a specific model kit called FAT40 ITS A WILLYS MODEL KIT MADE BY ERTL I THINK ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED THANK YOU
Hey Luka,
Can you do a feature on Dave Bell’s best of show Stood?
That burned-out Oldsmobile may be the best model car I've ever seen.

All I can say is that you have a great face for radio Matt:) By the way, how much for the Volare?
