I have a girl, we've crossed the intimacy boundary, but haven't had sex yet. She asked me if she could stay with me after our last date. She got covid, couldn't come. Text her after isolation to come stay with me (she lives 2 hours away). No text back. I left it for a week and half. I reached out to her. She responded positively. Left it after that. Text me randomly a day later, late at night. I left it to read in the morning, by then she deleted the messages. I hit her up about it, she resent me the messages and responded positively. I implied to hang out again. Didn't respond to that until a day later saying she misses me so asked what she was doing on the weekend, she said resting (nothing in other words) I implied I could hang out on one of the days she then said she was busy that day. Now I don't know if I should ask her out this weekend or just leave it. Very confusing as everything waa going perfectly. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Indeed i don't get this crap! back between 50's and 80's etc even 90's people who liked each other got together and JOB DONE'. also there was no feminism about in western society and women were not emasculating men with political correctness. etc. I still do get why women play hard to get and flake out etc etc - it never happened in my parents era! Actually incorrect, if she has displayed high interest and you keep " doing things" to keep her interested it will communicate neediness and approval seeking behaviour to which she will keep creating more distance. To regain the correct balance of sexual polarity, the man needs to stop chasing and leave her alone and match / mirror her actions. Once she feels you don't give a fuck anymore, that's when they return with more attraction.
The best and easiest way is to mirror her actions. If she moves in, you move in. If she pulls back, you pull back.

Bobby, I agree with all the points you mentioned. The elephant in the room that is never pointed at is the hormonal cycle. When women are going through the estrogenic phase of the cycle (end of the periods all the way till about day 18 of the cycle) and then through the luteal phase of the cycle (from day 18 to about day 28 of the cycle), the often display sexual and affectionate behavior. It is often towards the end of the cycle and during the periods when the hormones above drop that they start acting cold and uninterested. I found it very useful to just pay attention to the day of the cycle. I can then lower my expectations and be distant till things turn around again. I hope this helps
