+Ashley Miller Chile, that Lucky was something fine....had green eyes and drove a white convertible Mustang 5.0...had a curly flat top....I'm gonna have to find my prom picture and upload it on Instagram.
My eyes teared up when the pastor announced that nigga having a GF AND A BABY! OMG! That was embarrassing! Oh well, the jokes on him! lol! i bet he still regrets that!
temeka haynes oh no! That didn't happen to me! Lol! I was commenting on what Rox was saying about the story. Lol! Sorry! I did word my comment kind of weird. 😊
Rox your stories are everything. I'm over her thinking how do you hide a whole family. If it were me I would have fought him in the church parking lot barefoot #ijs
+Joe H Chile, we were all young....from what he told me later he wasn't really around for the girl and kid, then started feeling guilty so he went on ahead and decided to try to work it out with her. I think the girl might have even been younger than me, so somewhere around 17 or 18. She lived at home with her parents and he was the MIA father of the baby.
I love story time cause I always find out some interesting things about you. I have definitely been in this situation but I was the side guy and didn't know it until I was at a party. But back to this drug dealer...now I see why u always saying you have the drug dealer girlfriend look but ain't about that life 😂😂
+Joe H I was always intrigued by the drug dealer but too afraid to really get super invovled with one. Flirted around with it but never fully indulged.
Thanks this helped me so much my fiance left when I was 5months pregnant and I just didn't see how I would ever get past it but I have 7 more weeks until I have my baby and we are going to be good God has been blessing us so much after he left but it was hard to see me ever really getting over it but your happy and married so I'm seeing the hope
OMG that happen to me at Youth Camp when I was 17. The pastor was the person who told me they were seeing each other because he saw my boyfriend and my friend together at the mall the weekend before the Youth Lock In. And he said he wanted to pray with me before we went on the trip and I saw them together. I think I cried on my first lady arm for 20 min... but the people at church thought I was in the spirit... I kept saying Lord take me....LOL. But I thought he would have been my first... but I'm glad I waited. I was a virgin until I was 19 and I married him... now 20 years strong.
DANG Roxanne!! That was a doosey!! I was picturing the whole scene... I would have been devastated and embarrassed too! I liked your message to the young ladies at the end as well! You never disappoint!
My first love and heartbreak was in the church too and almost for the same reason. He never pressured me but we started dating about a year before he went to college and I always knew that in the back of my mind if we broke up it would probably be because of that. So of course he goes off to college and he realizes he can get ass whenever he wants so that was the end of that. Now he's starting to realize that he let go of a good thing, keeps staring at me and always tries to hug me and I'm just like no. buh bye.
+cutie3638 I can totally relate... it happened to me too! I knew he was going to break up with me because he was becoming more and more distant. Unfortunately, I gave it up as a last ditch effort and I wish I hadn't. He dumped me maybe a month before he went off to college. Fast forward a year later, I was a freshman in college he contacted me and we hooked up again, but this time I was not the same girl. We had been through so much in the past and I was determined not to play dumb the second time around, so I was going out with a number of guys. I eventually told him never to visit me again because I had gotten serious with someone... he was stunned! He honestly didn't think I would break up with him. Years later he told me that he thought I would always be there for him. Oh and that special someone is now my husband. We've been together for 12 yrs- married for soon to be 7 yrs. The funny thing is, I always thought that I would marry my 1st love... goes to show you that God always has other plans : )
I'm just like you. I start withdrawing from people and get suspicious if you keep trying to make me do something I clearly don't wanna do. Heck, I'm a 25 y/o virgin and don't date often. I can't imagine what awaits me lmao. Great story 👍
This could have been an idea for a sitcom! I laugh so hard when you said," I should not say that Fuc** church, ok that Damn church" because of course that was so much better, BOL! What stood out to me was your conviction to save yourself until you were ready, good for you! All people not just young people cave into peer pressure daily. I can only imagine the heartbreak when the pastor called your "boyfriend" to the front of the church with his family. In hindsight you missed a missle not bullet but a missle, this joker was no good...I believe on subconscience level you knew that. I am of the volition that God will have someone confirm a truth to you if you are willing to hear it. He is always in midst of things where two or more agree; that prophet was your confirmation. More than likely, "Marcus" girlfriend cave into his pressuring and the end result her being a single parent. I truly enjoyed your storytime!
"when the pastor turned around and said Marcus, come on down here" I promised I died laughing because that's exactly how it happens when the pastor is being messy. lmao!!
You are the BEST!!!!! I love story time. I love all your reviews but these stories really let us inside a little bit and get to know you better. You know you have more sisters, cousins, best friends, etc than you can imagine because we feel like we really know you. When I'm telling people about your posts I'm always like "My friend Roxanne said," LOL. I'm praying for you and for the barometric pressure to stabilize so that you can get some relief. I hope you have more stories soon. BTW you look cute, your eyes are doing something different and its very nice.
Oh I love the 90s!!! Best music, great dances, and sweet heartbreak. I loved the fact that past, create who we are in the present. And how we just look back and be able to SHARE and LAUGH. Great story!!!
OMG. I literally fell out of my chair when you said 'baby'. OMG Dead to the bed, in my Funky Dineva voice!!!! Trifling ass! These church men, boy I tell ya.
you remind me so much of myself. my mom passed 4 years ago and I get a lump in my throat when I think and talk about her. yes the story was funny. but all your stories are funny.
Girl I'm at work listening on my computer. That part where the pastor told Marcus to come on up, girl i paused and had to come back and rewind!! Im so glad that you didnt fall unders pressure. No matter how bad you were hurt, you should had took great satisfaction is knowing you aint give that nigga none! So glad to see a story time on my feed! Hope you feel better soon!
I hollered this entire video! When you said you ran out the church, all I could visualize was Amber and her hair from LHHH! lmao. I hope you feel better today Rox! Thanks for the video!
You and Candy of sweet addictions tv, tell the best stories! I hit rewind so many times. Lol Every now and then in life, we all have to take a L. But in this case it wasn't a loss, it was a lesson learned. You didn't give in for a reason. It ended up being for the best! Great story, Rox!
Love the story Rox. That crap was out cold. DAMN!!!! Please Please dont ever apologize for getting emotional about your mom. Never. Ever. She will forever be your heavenly Angel💖
I never comment but I had to here because this story had me HOLLERING with laughter !! I think I died about 6x listening to this... please do this more often Rox! 😂😂😂
You never fail to make this 40 something woman laugh at every vid you do! You made my day. You bring us right in with your story. Also every time you do a recap, I watch more than once because you crack me up to no end. Ty!
LMAO Rox, gurrrrllllll...I'm over here hollering! You know I've been there and done that and thank goodness my momma got some sense and comforted me in the same way. I know you're glad you dodged that bullet. I'm getting this image of you running out that church house in slow motion wit ya baby pumps on just hollering and yo' girls having your back! I like this segment, go on and add it to your repertoire.
@4itsrox I lost my vcard at 20. Guys would ALWAYS pressure me. But i lost it 2 a great guy who loved me. But bayybayyy that marcus aint chit. Im 39 but at 19 if he didnt have a car it was a no go lol chile. You better than me, and THANK GOD u nvr lost ur vcard to him. You probaly wouldve lost your mind in church that day had you done that. Thx 4 storytime!!!
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssss To story time ! I'm a young 23 year old subscriber and I love when you do story time I often go back and look at your old ones. Also the relationship gems you drop here and there get me thinking about life, and marriage and all it encompass!!! I live here in ATL and your stories give me hope because this place (as you know) is not the place to be looking for a straight black male that's not a hoe!!
Girl what a good story & soooo relatable ! ! Girl I laughed and cried all at the same time. LOL! Talking about my Mom (or to hear someone reminisce about their Mom)always make me cry or get the shake voice . Lol! #alwaysmissmymom 😇 Awesome story ! !!!
You have to be one of my favorite you tubers. I'm a young 20 year old and have watched you since high school. You are so genuine and funny. I've been having a bad week and I find comfort and happiness while watching you. Thank you for being you.
I'm surprised nobody in the church told ol girl he was dating someone else AT THAT VERY CHURCH...yall know church folks STAY gossiping & "revealing" shit 😂 #SisterTamikaComeUpHere #TheSpiritToldMeToTellYou #ThatHeAintNoGood #HeAlreadyGotABoo #ThereSheGoRightThere #SingingFirstSoprano
Yes!!!!! it's straight snitches at the church I used to go to. Somebody would've slipped that tea in Pastor's glass of water before he even made it back to his office after the service lol
+Mrs. T. Shaw. I'm surprised that none of the "snitches" told the pastor BEFORE the service that Marcus and Rox were a couple. Rox mentioned that everybody in the choir knew that Marcus was dating Rox (too) .
+YourKingofHearts I was telling someone else that my pastor at the time was a bit messy. He knew. He had children and grandkids in the choir, and I knew they were messy as well. my goodness Roxy , i love your story ...and strange enough we have a lot in common ... i used to be in the church , sing in the choir , praise and worship team , led a dance team .....was in church 24/7 Monday prayer cell , Tuesday band practice , Wednesday church service , Thursday praise and worship practice , Friday prayer meeting , Saturday youth and choir practice Sunday ... service ALL day , you know how these services never end and there used to be two services , at 10am and 6pm those were the days .....
Not to be mushy, but man, you are gifted. You have so much personality and intelligence in all of your videos. I thoroughly enjoy your content. I need to get a life because whenever you have a new video my day gets a little brighter lol
Aww my Gosh, it's always them church boys! I had a similar situation, but I think I would have lost it too!!! Great storytime Rox you truly have a gift!!!!!
Chiiiiilllle, idk why this video popped up for me, 6 years later, ( especially since I've been watching Rox Longer than that). But I watched it anyway since I rocks with Rox, and what a good message. So sorry you had to endure they though
This was hilarious and I love your message behind it. Women should never let a man pressure them to have sex, sticking to your convictions is where it's at. Thank you so much for making that statement, we need to be reminded of that!
Your dramatic exit from the church made me think of Amber and her hair running outside the therapist office after Miles told her he was gay....When she wanted her mama! l had to laugh out loud on this one!!! LOL!!!!
Wow, Rox you have THE BEST stories ever! I loved your dramatic exit girl! LOL. Thanks so much for being so transparent and for sharing such an important message.
You know Fox you always tell the best stories!!!!. I wish I could have learned from something like this when I was younger, but I was young & dumb... Anyway you live and you learn right... Thanks for the the story....😀😀😀
im a young viewer im 18 and i always watch your videos i loveeeeeddd it it was very motivational and i loved the overall purpose and lesson of it when you said Marcus come on down I NEARLY DIED !!!!! .. #BarbadianFan #BajanFan #loveyou #GodBless.
Even though that situation was incredibly embarrassing and hurtful, it was a blessing. I'm so glad you all didn't get serious. Some things are just unacceptable.
You are so naturally funny. That was great(not what happen) story to share to let young women know they can recover. May God continue to bless you. I loved it, that was a good one. I don't know how you can top that one.
Thanks Rox!!! I've been waiting for Storytime to come back... Although, you may not believe you have "good" stories, it's your delivery and storytelling that sells them. Your stories are absolutely HILARIOUS!
Loved the message in this video. Ladies need to take more pride in holding out and sticking to their morals and choices verses breaking down for a man or woman. Definitely in a time today where promiscuity is almost praised.
I paused the video for a second when you said you went to prom with a drug dealer....girlllllll, I see you like adventure lol
+Ashley Miller Chile, that Lucky was something fine....had green eyes and drove a white convertible Mustang 5.0...had a curly flat top....I'm gonna have to find my prom picture and upload it on Instagram.

Rox, you and I are so alike! I found myself nodding my head at certain points like, "bitch, me too!" lol
Rox, you are the only one who can make me laugh at a sad story. Well at least you didn't give him none of your goodies!
You dodged a bullet, you women's intuition saved you from this jerk and the Pastor confirmed that he wasn't the one, Great story...love it!

This was hilarious and I love your message behind it. Women should never let a man pressure them to have sex, sticking to your convictions is where it's at. Thank you so much for making that statement, we need to be reminded of that!
ROXXXX!!! Great story, and even better message!!!
OOOOOH He was trifling! Good thing you kept your legs closed to him Rox!
I really need these back in my life lol😩😩
Your dramatic exit from the church made me think of Amber and her hair running outside the therapist office after Miles told her he was gay....When she wanted her mama! l had to laugh out loud on this one!!! LOL!!!!
+Being Mena J Lol, EVERYONE has said this. :) It was almost exactly like that, just imagine about 20 people from the choir running out after me. SMH.
Hilarious!!!
Wow, Rox you have THE BEST stories ever! I loved your dramatic exit girl! LOL. Thanks so much for being so transparent and for sharing such an important message.

Even though that situation was incredibly embarrassing and hurtful, it was a blessing. I'm so glad you all didn't get serious. Some things are just unacceptable.

He said, "Roxanne, I am your man!" LOOOL.
Thanks for sharing. What a story. Yes this will indeed help someone.
Rox, I understand. My WTH moment happened at work. I had forgotten all about it until I heard this but at the time I thought my life was over.
Loved the message in this video. Ladies need to take more pride in holding out and sticking to their morals and choices verses breaking down for a man or woman. Definitely in a time today where promiscuity is almost praised.
I really needed this story... so many lessons.
Great video with a great message. Thanks for sharing Rox!
I love you your storytime. I hope you bring this back when you have time.
