Damn....sounds like he and Kareem did not see eye to eye a lot of times
more like kareem didnt do everything he could because he knew the org didnt want him and or pay him, and he preped like he was back up, i love kareem, but if you ask me it sounds like stump was just mad at himself for not mootivating reem enough to even tho nick was starting, to ACT and prepare like kareem would start, even tho he felt like he was not gonna get many reps.
i saw it a lot, players just dont do ther ebest cuz they know the HC or OC wont put them in so it demotiavtes you.

I get the sense that the Browns didn’t keep Hunt due to his behavior and performance. When Nick went down then Hunt was the best option. Given what Stump said here-I get the sense that part of the reason he was let go was his inability to get Hunt to the level needed to win.
That’s super sad. What a loser Hunt has to be as a person.
That's because they wanted Hunt to run exactly the same as Nick Chubb.

I got that feeling too watching this. The way he speaks on Kareem makes me feel like hes psrt of the reason Stump is losing his job. Because Kareem just doesnt care anymore about winning.

Cam is a great interviewer and really gets people to talk by asking pertinent questions and letting the guest talk. We all love Kareem, would love to see him buckle down and get it one more time with Nick.

Now, we know the rest of the story. This is a great example of the media and fans don't know what they don't know. The classy and real Mitchell has glowing things to say about the organization in general and primary staff and ownership specifically. But being real, he made an exception for one particular player. Kareem Hunt! What he has to say about Hunt, he has said before, but not in this detail. It probably explains why the Browns didn't want to resign him until they became desperate after Chubb was injured. It probably also explains why no other team signed him prior to the Browns doing so. He evidently has other priorities and getting better isn't one of them.

I know the popular opinion is to be mad at the organization and to think that the Browns are a dysfunctional mess (to be fair, that feeling is warranted after literally witnessing it for 20 years), but in my mind, this interview kind of flies in the face of that opinion, at least for this current iteration of the Cleveland Browns. Here is a dude who has every reason to publicly slam the Browns, but he had nothing but positive things to say about everyone. Stump is a class act, and I know the fans here, including myself, will miss seeing him on the sidelines.

Best run game we've ever had have been in the last 4 or 5 years. This is yet another foolish decision by the Cleveland Browns. We shouldve never let Manziel go either. Im ecstatic of the season we had especially considering all the injuries that we had. What Flacco did in Cleveland is by far his greatest achievement. I hope we have a healthy team next year and we can do just as well next year and for several years after that. ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉

My thoughts about Kareem were correct. He is just relying on his natural talent but if he devoted himself to be the best he can be. He could get back to the form he had his rookie year in KC
You can tell based on his build. Kareem's looked like he was lazy with conditioning.

No they didn't. They averaged like 48 ypg. Running game was awful.
