Thanks for this Video.... perfect timing. My 5yr old grape needs trimming. I have 2 "how to" books on training grapes, but this is so great to watch up close !!! very helpful.....
What a lovely thing to have all of that amazing knowledge with the wise old Elf!!! Such an amazing amount of wisdom!! Joe is a treasure!! Thank him from me, please!! I love learning this even if I don't have grapes!! Wow, that comfrey looks great!! A wealth of knowledge on comfrey as well! What a treat!! Thank you both!! Fantastic indeed!! You're lookin' fine, Guru!! See ya Thursday!!💋☺️😍 🥰 😘 🔥💖
I agree with the Elf... Folks seem to be in such a rush to plant and sow stuff these days . My old bosses day ( who was a head gardener) always said if you cant sit on the seed bed and drink a mug of tea with your ar5e bare then it was too early 🤣 ... and he never planted potatoes till after Easter ... now we have poly tunnels its easier to extend the season without sowing stuff early.
OMG, the Elf is really the BFG, to a T, I think he should change his name. We love him. Thanks, I will never grow a grape vine, but after that tutorial, I'm an expert :D
Great video 😊. I can’t wait for my grape vine to mature, I planted it in the ground in my poly tunnel a few days ago. Hope you get some good grapes 🍇 this years 😊
Great vid. Thanks Joe and Toni. Can you tell me when to feed the grapevine and what with? ( if the comfrey’s not ready) Thanks 🙏 again. Take care. Eamonn.
sir, i wish to have a grape vine. i seen on bbc world monty don taste 3 variety of grapes, one of them is lake monte seedless, i wish to have this variety, what variety would u recommend , n why. and were can i get from. people say when u order one variety they will seed some thing else, they know it will take u 1 year to now the variety, thanks
Hi Santano... It will very much depend on your climate... Do a Google search for "Grapes to grow" In your planting zone, and choose a variety from that short list... I like the sweeter white grape "Chardonnay" which is the vine you see here, but I think you may find that there are many types to choose from if you live in a temperate to warm climate with enough sun and a moderate amount of water and low to moderate humidity. Good Luck & Good Hunting my Friend! Guru M & The Wise Elf!

Jo is brilliant and he’s right if you put everything in because you can and not because it’s time you’re going to lose stuff.
Thanks Wise Old Elf for advice on pruning grapevine, my job for today
