Evans Blue is such an underrated band...what a shame. I have loved them since they first came out many years ago. As a survivor of both Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, their music helped me cope with so many traumatic experiences in my life. Any music that possesses that ability should be given mad props. Both singers have contributed to amazing music and it's so unfortunate they never received the recognition they truly deserved. I wish more people knew this band...the people who don't, have no idea what they've been missing...Thank you Evans Blue for making such powerful music...I will forever be a fan...❤❤❤

I hadn't listen to them in a long time but then discovered the graveyard of empires album and feel it's just a great album from beginning to end, then went a few years once again without listening to them, obviously that dry spell has been broken once again.... And this is actually one song I had completely forgot about, but now one of my favorites off the album, live to die is a bad ass song as well

When bands like Linkin Park, Metallica, Slipknot and even Evans Blue basically changed overnight, fans were up in arms. All you heard was "sell out" this and "commercial" that. Bands like Disturbed have never had to worry about polarizing the fanbase like that, and it's worked like a charm thus far.
I have been deprived of all good music until Sirius gave me a 3 month trial. Led me to Evans Blue, Deuce, Nonpoint, In This Moment and others I never would've heard in good ol Waterloo IA.
reminds me of the first stained album alittle....very good band nice change of pace once in a while from the heavier stuff i listen to....(lamb of god,pantera...etc)
This song and This Time Is Different are awesome. Like their singles in the past but these songs are already my favorite ones they've released. I don't own any of their albums but I may pick this album up when it comes out.

I don't mind a specific sound in one album but after 5 albums... I respect what Linkin Park has done and I never refer to bands like that as sell outs (as opposed to Train). My favorite bands besides EB are Blue October, Thrice, Hurt, and of course Parabelle. Each one of their albums has a unique sound and very frequently in song structure.
Also, THANK YOU!!! Every time I listen to Sick Of It, that intro just sparks something in the back of my mind. I know I've heard it before, but I just can't place it. It's been bothering me for months now, preventing me from really getting into the song.
I'd say the lyrics on this album are all around better than the self-titled attempt, but Kevin and the band worked together to make one complete with lots of musical variety. Nearly every verse sounded different and a lot of detail was clearly put into the layers of each song, even the covers. My personal favorite Evans Blue song would have to be Painted, and Kevin isn't even the driving force in the song.
Obviously there is going to be line-up changes. They met by chance. Just be glad they met in the first place or we may have never heard this amazing band in the first place. I do miss Kevin Matisyn but hey, they seem to be doing well. And the music is still good so whatever, right?
I could say the same with the exception of few new bands who only have one album (for instance, Hell or Highwater). I own the first 3 CDs and when I can find the new one at Best Buy, I'll be getting it for sure.

Only Evans Blue.
Actually CD sales do very little for most bands. Going out to see them live is how they make money. I've seen a lot of bands openly tell their fans to download their music and share it with their friends, and if they like it to bring them to a live show.

This band is like what would happen if Breaking Benjamin and staind had a brain child... The lyrical themes are totally Breaking Benjamin, the quiet-loud dynamic is definitely staind... I love Evans Blue.
