Hes also a very cool guy. They all are. They dedicated a show to my dad after he committed suicide. We both loved them and when I met them I couldnt help but talk about him and they talked about him on stage.

Interesting way to think about this song, I choose to think about it in a different way. How soon he lost his nephew at such a young age and the lyrics seem to be like he is talking to the world, god, etc. In one word.. Frusteration

Look at this year's grammy nominees for rock - include 21 Pilots, Beyonce, Alabama Shakes, and same thing last year, and the year before that... matter of fact, last year an actual rock band won all 3 rock prizes was 2013 (Black Keys, and they're not exactly that rock'n'roll in all honesty). I'm goddamn sick of this. Give rock prizes to ROCK, not some alternative pop or whatever just because they're introvert and "edgy"!

So gonna be honest this is literally the first time I've ever heard these guys and just about every song is a banger
Christ it's been awhile since I've listened to these boys, the song already gave me chills, now the nostalgia is adding to the feeling.
I saw them in a small venue in the first months of him taking over as thier singer. They opened for Drowning Pool. He was still clearly nervous as a front man. His vocals were amazing. We made him feel at home.

One of the most underated bands
That guitar sound that comes in at 0:27 and towards the end, it puts a deep nostalgic feeling in me and my stomach tingles, I can't describe it, I feel like running back into the past.

This year,I entirely disowned my toxic family. I decided to continue my journey without them after realizing they were the reason I live with such a negative mindset. It's been hard,especially because my 1 year old daughter is involved and can't see her cousins because of it. I have listened to this song to remind myself of the damage they spent 34 years doing. It's helped me cope . I know thats notbthe meaning of this song,but my situation is how i interpreted it originally-dealing with shitty people and being mentally broken from it. I love evans blue because their music has been a comfort to me since I first hear "Cold(but I'm still here)" in 2006 when the first boy(or man,whatever, we were both 18) that I loved rejected me. It helped me get through those lonely nights.
I sit here tonight thinking…when was the last time I was truly happy? Happy about myself, happy about my life? What happened to me? When I was young I was the kindest, genuine, happiest man most people would ever meet.
Now at 40 I’m almost broken, feeling used, abandoned, betrayed, but I won’t let them succeed because tolerant people like us are too strong and too good. I’m starting life over from scratch and erasing my family from my life. All I’ve done is give! and got nothing in return but toxicity.
I’m happy for you and truly wish you all the best! The best days are ahead, the world is yours! We came this far, time to erase the scars!

@fredstone5872 thank you. Best wishes with your journey as well. I wrote this comment 2 months ago and my life has been nothing but peace. I can't escape the permanent trauma they've already caused but I am preventing new trauma from happening. It's difficult , ngl, but for my peace it's worth it.
