when i made load testing 110% for my generator 750kVA (pri), it was stop and appear under frequency, cooling water was too hot and blow out at that time,
It's possible because of the huge added load, which cause the voltage to Dip and in turn causing the Genset to register a lower frequency check and re-adjust your transient delay.
Or it might be your governor which can't keep up with the load demand

Voltage, RPM & Frequency are proportional they can be adjusted through the AVR and the engine speed governor
