- Today I bought a Troy Bilt 50” Big Red Horse lawn mower for $100. Normally I don't mess with lower end brands like Troy Bilt, but It actually runs and works, so I decided I couldn't pass it up. I'm going to see if I can tune up this riding lawn tractor and flip it this week for a big profit!
Welcome to Garage Story!
I'm in the business of hunting up old lawn mowers and other small machines, and either parting them out, or fixing them up and selling them for profit. Come along for the ride with my weekly vlogs and how-to videos.

You are making me want to flip mowers!
I like seeing complete buy-to-sale videos like this. Keep it up!!
Thanks! I just need to get a little better at the ‘sale’ part.
A set of chains on the back tires and you have a hill side Beast. I would have paid way more than $400. It was made when they still made them right.
Love the background music. Bluegrass :)
😁
I like to see broken things working again
So do I! Thanks for watching
8 oz of ATF in tire will usually do the job. Buy the cheapest at autoparts by the gallon :)
That has been mentioned before. Maybe I should give it a try… I’m not really a fan of tire slime.
How does one get the liquid into the innertube?
@@BaptistJoshua Use a gear oil bottle with the pointed top. Take a piece of vacuum hose that will fit bottle and go over valve stem. Lucas bottles of tratment work well they have the oz. measurements on the labeling :)
@@darrelldubree9658 Thanks!
I have a John Deer Z425 54" cut a d the belt broke, not the deck belt the one that is under the set and goes to the transmission. Does anybody know the length of this belt.
Have you talked to the dealership? They should be able to tell you based off your serial number/model number.
I’m probably going to be replacing mine soon.
No help at all
do you have a dealer #?
A phone number?
