- Big Ron meets up with a good friend to hit one of the most old school dungeon style gyms he’s ever seen. Iron Works Gym. It’s pretty rare for Ron to see things he’s never seen before, but this gym has some real gems.

I loved that old hack squat/leg press with the thick checker-plate. I used to have to stand one foot on the back board and one foot on the seat to pull the checker plate footboard out to convert the leg press to a hack. Glad to see those old machines.

I trained at 80% gyms in Saskatchewan and this one beats them all Pat is the best and atmosphere is great and friendly 💪🏋️♂️💯😎

Man I love gyms like this one. It has so much character. No disrespect to 24 hour fitness or Planet Fitness, but I’d train at that gym if it was in my neighborhood.
