I've always had an interest in wanting to get into gold as well as being from Marion that's just right around the corner from me damn near lol. You say Shaw Creek? But anyways I'll be sure to check your channel more and possibly subscribe and good find brother.

Y'all really didn't invent anything new, afraid to say. I built a vibrating sluice fifteen years ago, and I know several other people who've done the same. When you live in gold country like I do, you get to see a lot of contraptions. Some are good, and some are not so good.
You may want to try building a framework for the sluice to sit on, instead of the legs directly attached to the sides of the sluice box. Then attach springs to the underside of the sluice, and set it on the framework. Do not permanently affix the springs to the frame, to the sluice box is fine. Instead have locating cups on the frame for the springs to sit in, with piece of rubber cut from the sidewall of a tire in each cup. That should solve your isolation problem, and greatly reduce the vibration from transferring down the legs.
My original vibrating sluice I used valve springs out of some scrapped Briggs & Stratton engines. Give that a go and have fun experimenting.
    Cheers. 👋🇨🇦

This seems to be working like this. We can pull the sluice out anytime ww want with out taking anything apart. I know it's not new. I got the idea from watching a utube video where someone else built one.
