So fun to see your excitement over the new rulers. 💕 your quilt is going to be gorgeous!
A helpful tip . . . start cutting on the left from the 0 and move to the right, cutting at every square. DO NOT lift the ruler between cuts . . . cut all the strips to be more accurate, and only move the ruler when you're done cutting everything.
I love my stripology ruler!
Love those rulers for cutting!
Thanks for showing this
Yep, that ruler is great…I have had one for almost 20 years…the June Taylor strip ease…you will love it forever…
Quilty Husband of the Year!
love that ruler.... girl you were making me excited to go buy one!!! have a great day
I have the older stripology rule love that block
Your channel has pushed me forward in more ways than one. You have been a blessing - God bless.
Awwww!! Thank you!!!! That means alot to me. I try to be a blessing to someone everyday. Even if it's just holding a door or a helping hand. The way people treat eachother today really saddens me . Kindness is free.
So happy for you
Even tho you are right handed start on the left side and go to the right that way you arent counting backwards.. start at the left on 0 and go right and dont lift it up after each cut so you dont accidentally lay it down on the wrong line. Its a game changer for sure.
One of my favorite rulers! I loved your reaction to trying it for the first time. I enjoy your channel.
I'm gonna have to look into that ruler, you got that cut soooooo fast. I can't wait to
see this quilt all put together it looks fun and fast. Happy Quilting!
I did list it in my Amazon store front. All 3 sizes. I love it!!!!
Thank you for sharing the video. It was very helpful. Nice rulers! Love your channel. 💕
I only have the CL size but after watching your video, I’m definitely looking at the smaller sizes for other projects! Thanks for!😊
I knew u wd love ur stripology ruler. I love mine too.
I knew you would really enjoy it. I grab for mine often.
I was so excited for you. I haven't had my stripology XL very long, but it's a game changer for sure. ❤
Yay for getting so much joy from your new tools 😊. On getting a rotating mat, I love the Fiskars square rotating mat, I waited for a 40% coupon from Michaels and got mine that way. They have a 30% for July 4th right now😊😊
I have a small 2 1/2” by 6” ruler that I love for marking my half square triangles and trimming.
Look up the ruler on CZcams for a video on how to use it because every time you move the ruler you may not get the size you want. Gudrun has an Excellent tutorial and tips. You love that ruler already but you will love how much faster it will make cutting. I love my ruler. I have the first one Gudrun made but I need the newer one. Happy sewing.
Love my ruler. Your rotary would be easier to start if you move the ruler up onto the mat and use the teardrops to place rotary into. Plus all the other tips!
I love the color of your hair.... beautiful 😍
Thank you!! Growing my grey out... again ,)
I have that pattern and haven’t decided which fabric squares to use yet.
I used my stripology ruler on the "pioneer woman" picnic quilt, I had everything cut in just a jiffy one night and the blocks sewn the next day. I'm still sewing blocks to each other (my mother-in-law is in the hospital so not much time for sewing) I just try to sew for at least a few minutes each day to keep some progress going 😊
Positive vibes and prayers for mom!!!! And sewing can become like a meditation for me. I get in a rythym and keep going. You'll have that quilt knocked out in no time!!!!
I don’t mark any longer because of using the seam tape either
I had to laugh when you were so tickled with your ruler! Wish I could afford one but it's not in the budget right now. Bless that husband of yours. Looking forward to watching you put that quilt together I think it's going to be so pretty.
I would have never thought he'd say get the whole bundle!!! He's a keeper!! We've been together 30 years
If you sew a couple of stitches then move your finger off the fabric, you'll be able to look at your bottom point and keep it on the line. No need to look at the needle after you've started it. Just make sure the bottom point stays on the correct line of your guide tape and it'll be golden.
