Ooh, these two are so good together. Credit also for the wonderful music in this series. See the tension and hurt in this scene, and then go and watch some of the BTS clips and the interviews to show the wit and friendship Galitzine and Curran share. Delightful counterpoint.

@@thomasfy4 You might like to try some of the music of the era, Byrd, Taverner, Dowland and more. It is an acquired taste, but a new and exciting field to explore. The end credits song, Pass'd Time With Good Company, is typical of the era. Try some Elizabethan lute music played by Julian Bream, or counter tenor singing from such as James Bowman and Iestyn Davies. Explore and enjoy. Good luck.

The end credits song, Pass'd Time With Good Company is typical of the era. Music of the time is clever and often complex, needs a different way of listening, but rewarding. Try the music of Byrd, Taverner, Dowland for a start, Eluzabethan lute music from Julian Bream, the countertenor singing by James Bowman or Iestyn Davies to give you a flavour of the times. These will lead you forward into more. There is a lot on CZcams . Enjoy the adventure!

Looking at the show I remembered all the vicious older bottom guys I dated as a young man. The older top guys we're allways perfect gentlemen while the older bottom guys we're usully horrible people.
I'm so glad I'm not in this time. 🤣 I swear.
I was really looking forward to this. I ask myself, why does nobody talk about the absolute horrible, disgusting and bad music in this show? Destroys everything. What is this? Some kind of torture? How could you?

George's hair isn't right. It wouldn't have been cropped short like that, but long and straight, near to his shoulders. It's obvious if you look at his portraits. They couldn't put a wig on Nicholas?
They do in later episodes. The point is to show his move from youth to older, from conventional to wilder individuality in a way that would show by inference to a modern audience unaware of the modes if the era
