Y’all be assuming people don’t know people because they don’t have 100k subscribers lol I know a big artist in real life so chill out with that ignorant stuff you are above no one you bleed just like me
This Industry sometimes god damn. I'm glad I heard Taz Taylor going through this too, even at his level makes be feel better about the bs some artists be putting me through . smh
You guys problem is that you sell beats instead of doing releases as an artist eg DJ shadow, Pete rock, samiyam, floating points, flying lotus and many others. Release interesting instrumental joints or ones with a singer or rapper but under your name. There’s money to be made!! Also if you get poppin doing that these bigger artist placements will come, Infact they’ll be begging you for beats
I'm not sure how much money there is to be made from dropping instrumentals on streaming. I think you're probably going to make more money selling via beatstars and making "type beats"
@@SamHigo Na I’m talking about actual releases. Are you familiar with dudes like flying lotus? Or even think about Pete rock with his petestrumentals. Now, obviously I’m naming some bigger names but the idea is valid in my opinion. Just gotta make it work
@designatedpiledriver8216 yeah if you've built yourself up as a established producer then it works but if you're just starting out it's gonna be trickier I think
So the value of beats goes down cause man like this lowers the value..Gets bitter and says fine im gonna sell it for peanuts not understanding how it will backfire later..
Better than lame ass affilate marketing and music streams. At least you keep all of the money. No commissions. No splits. All your money!! Ecommerce...YOU DIGGGGG!!!!!
@@dsbpakman7469 Nah that's not the bad thing, I mean that he has no problem selling a beat for 50$ that he just previously sold to another dude for 30$, even having a laugh about it.
@@DonDadda45 Yeah thats what licensing means. He doesnt sell a beat for 30 or 50 bucks, he sells the right to use them, but he can still sell that right to other artists as well. If somebody wants an exclusice license that usually starts around 300-500 Dollars minimum
Bro got the beeper jumpin😂
on the beats rapping about all the money they have too😂
Nobody in the comments section has ever sued any major label let alone unsigned artist, calm tf down.

Including you, lil dawg
this nigga so raw bruh。
Ong he remind me of me he real 10 toes
I dont get how niggas can make $5000+ on a song then be tripping about paying the prod $50 - $200
They just greedy and lazy
because her hoes need a New car
and producers be wayyy more talented
They’re making way more than 5k, 50$ is for regular people that just want to own their stuff. For big artists you pay a percentage of the songs
I respect the producer grind 💯🤞🏾 I’m willing to pay them there cut at the end of the day business will always be handled properly this way
You one of the good artists
Real one🫡
💯💯🙏🏾🔥
i love it when taz talks about selling beats like they pounds

This a real dude!!! Preach my brother!

hold up let him cook
I remember when he tweeted he could take Kanye music to the next level lmao
Had that happened a few times
when I was younger super frustrating
these rappers are drugged out cycling through beats they don’t even know where they came from
If they not giving you the bread then sue. I sell my beats with contracts
Well u don’t tho do u 😂😂😂
Actually I do. If you sell using beat stars it does it automatically
@@tregantt5309 if you selling on beatstars then it’s not worth suing. just take their shit down
Done right
Hell yea back then in 2015 - 2017 niggas wasn't up on game
Love you taz ❤
Unfortunately that’s what happens. Had a song with 200k streams last year that the artist got “signed” off of. No pay, no credit 🙃
If it’s your beat you can take down the song
You can take the song down
@@ThirdWorldBeatzhow can he do that
@@ThirdWorldBeatzor how do you go about it

No money no beat. Prods are too passive you gotta be aggressive bro

Imagine doing a job for someone and not getting paid, and being dumb enough to not make a contract
