Hello my Beautiful People! Welcome back!
I am very excited tonight! I have been wanting to do this project for a while and tonight is finally the night! A good friend of mine told me about a website that sells really cool wood panels in all different shapes, sizes and thicknesses, and I had a great time browsing their selection! You can check out their website here 24hourcrafts.com/
I chose a 20 inch Crescent Moon that is 1/2 inch thick, and 5 stars in different sizes.
I am using my canvas levelers from Tracie Reed. You can find them on her Etsy shop here

I really like the way the moon and stars came out. The colors are beautiful when dry and the contrast between the Pebeo Iridescents and the dark Prussian blue is wonderful!
When they are dry I will resin them and install hanging hardware. I love these!

I love all of these! The crescent moon is stunning. They would make a cool gallery wall with that marbled wave positioned below...

Gorgeous Mina!
Tout simplement magnifique wow wow wow j'adore felicitation mina 👍👍👍🌠🌠
Wow, so beautiful. You must buy Prussian Blue by the barrel!
Your moon Mina and the little stars are super happy. Love the colors and the flip cup moon design. The stars turned out so good and I actually love the lines in the stars from the dip. Gave it that added depth and texture. And the sheen on them is so pretty. Oh!!! And 'Rolling Wave' dried with such an over all sheen with sparkles. The colors stayed so true and lovely. Can the moon & stars be hung outside once Resined?
Omg!!! These are great!! 😍
❤❤❤
Pretty.🌺
So beautiful. Will you do a video when you do the resin?
I have learned so much, thank you for sharing. Beautiful work. Do you ever have yellowing from using Floetrol?
No I've never had that issue thankfully
This sister needs a lil help. I was wondering what benefit does gac 800 offer to acrylic pouring? I'm currently using Floetrol and artist loft pouring medium. Can you tell I'm new? I really admire your work and am in love with your family! Thanks ❤
Hi Elaine! In my experience GAC800 will slow your drying time to give you more time to work with the paint. (Imagine you were using watercolors or oils that could dry very fast) The only times I've ever used it was when it was very hot and I didn't want my painting to dry too fast and potentially crack. I used very little and it still made it take a lot longer to dry. It definitely works in that regard. I know a lot of people add it to their recipes, but I always want to know why. Honestly, if its just being used to thin out the pouring medium, then I would rather use plain old free water rather than GAC800, which can be $$$. Great question!!! Ask them why they use it. You can also always call Golden directly, they will give you great information on all their products, it's an amazing company! Good luck to you, and feel free to ask any questions you have. I will always answer 😉
@@MinaVillegasArt thank you so much for taking the time, it's helpful. I've been experimenting with pearl pours and slowing down the drying time could help as my paints are so thin, again thank you, you're the best!! 😍😍😍
What kind of torch do you use?
