ONE YEAR LIFE SPAN MAX: according to the manual, the rechargable battery cannot be replaced, and the battery life is 8-12 months! So expect a year lifespan and then have to replace the unit! see pages 26-27 of the manual.
The other problem I had was working temperature 23F to 131F....it might not work for most of the winter here in Montana where it is colder than 23F.
