As an ex-Californian, born and raised, this is by far one of my favorite SNL skit series of all time. The mouth/facial expressions and the valley accent are on point. 😂 Takes me way back.

You’re correct. There is another version of this skit somewhere on the internet where her hat doesn’t fall off. I think this is the dress rehearsal, but it’s my favorite of the two.
Cathy Bass yeah this is the dress rehearsal because in the one that aired live you can see Kristen’s hand going towards the hat to keep it on during the kiss.

Skit was so well written the cast couldn't keep it together. They exaggerated their parts to a point where they found it too hilarious to not break character. I thought it was very funny.
