He was the complete winger in his prime. He had it all.

Nice vid! My winger shortlist looks like: Olise ( 1st choice marquee winger imo, If LFC make it happen that's a massive statement), Kudus, Nico Williams, Bakayoko, Summerville, Barcola, Moleiro, Maghnes Akliouche (Very underrated rn), and unrealistically I'd love Sávio from Girona but he pretty much belongs to City :(
And then Kvara, Leao and Xavi Simmons but I highly doubt we make any of those moves. Kubo would be such a cool signing but I honestly don't feel statistically he's worth his 60m release clause, or that he'd honestly thrive in the prem. And then Olise's release clause is essentially the same price as Kubo's which really puts things in perspective for me.

Elliot - Wide Playmaker. Not much of an athlete, so I think he's a pure 10. These type of players thrive in Spain, but not in England.
Doak - Old school Winger. Hits the byline a lot.
Diaz - Roadrunner. Jinky winger without em-product.
Gakpo - Traits of a wing forward, but i think he'll be better in the middle, based on the tacts we use next season.
Jota - A poacher playing on the wings, no thank you. His archetype would be Wing Forward, but I prefer him down the middle.
Szobo - He's an all action 10, but if he's a wide man, then I'd say he's an inverted winger.
Salah - Prime Salah had it all. Crossing, Dribbling, Scoring. He had it all. Now, he's more of a playmaker who can still score.
It's clear that we need reinforcements on the wings. We need wing forwards who ars ruthless. Either that, or Playmaking wingers/wide playmakers with some athleticism. Leao, Kvara, Olise, Kubo maybe, Eze, Kudus(in the 10 position, would be brilliant). Diaby is another option, but he'll be hella expensive. If we're looking for 9s, then we have to look at Zirkzee.
Some people forget that Edwards like unknown and hidden gems. He may just bring in a player from the j league or MLS and create a beast.
Michael Edwards definitely has a catalogue of top talent regardless of names and I am sure we will be surprised! There are some real talents in the J league for sure!

Personally, my preferred option would be Mitoma. I love watching him on the ball and that goal he scored against us in the FA cup last season was filthy. He does everything I want our left wingers to do and more. However, do you think Michael Edwards would seriously consider him? I think he would because he is around the same age we signed Salah at but I dont know how likely it is that he joins... what do you think?

Could see Bradley as a winger, he likes to run at people. Doak’s running is good but the end product hasn’t been there.

Whoever the winger is needs to understand that they defend as a team. Doesn’t mean tackling but being aggressive and winning the ball back by pressing and hurrying opposition into mistakes.

If Salah struggles next year, thats not a problem we want a new manager to have. It could derail the dressing room and unsettle the team, ruin the season. I don't believe the press saying that Liverpool are commited to him, I think thats Salah's agent saying that, and LFC are letting the story run because they want the market to think we are in on him. Theres no way Edwards holds onto Salah long. LFC will probably offer him an extension with terms that are less favorable than Salah wants, then if he doesnt accept it, they sell him this summer.

Sorry fella but your first few recommendations are pance. You predicated your analysis on the need for a more traditional winger, who can deliver quality balls in. Neither Neto, Kubo or Mitomo are know for doing this, stats back this up. Kubo isn’t a great dribbler either, reminds me a bit of Riera. Too predictable and would get easily pocketed by quality defenders in the PL, his red card count could also be high.
I know Endo has you on a high at the moment, rightly so because he’s been solid, but let’s not get carried away.
Don't forget about Carvalho. He can play on the wing and is doing well on loan at Hull.
I doubt Liverpool will bring in a new winger unless they sell a player first. I believe Slot's main objective is to work with current squad and develop upcoming talent.
I think Fabio Calvalho is a bit limited out wide with his attributes unless Slot starts him wide and inverts him fo join the 10 but he is ideally suited in Slots 10 position to probe for space. I do think that we lack a proper winger who can go around the outside and cross, with Lucho and Doak our best options of getting to the byline. Slot traditionally loves utilising a variety of wingers
Fabio said he preferred to play as a 10 his natural place and where he loves, but he also mentioned he can play out wide but he’s not his favorite
