As an actual barber commenting on this, it's actually a fade lol it goes from nothing to something and it's just super tight. Europe has adapted the very heavy, but blended fades. I remember Mahesh doing a peaky blinders fade and he even did some guard skipping if I remember correctly. She did a dope cut. Good upload boys.

Different doesn’t mean wrong. This is a service industry, so as long as the client is happy with the cut then she did her job. Great video, Carlos! Excellent cut and trim. I love how international the BEARDBRAND channel has become!
To anyone complaining about how it’s not blended .. In Italy that’s the big trend right now the hard line fades with no blending .. She did that on purpose

Carlos you will find the barber that use more the hands than the combs because of to have a real touch with the customers.
"Insomma" will be an expression that you will heard a lot. It is used as "in conclusion", when you need to finish to express a concept and maybe you did some deviations or you want resume all in one short phrase full of meaning (that's is the normal Italian slang way)

Gorgeous fade ' the new age barbers do alot more with amazing techniques ' that's what the younger guys want these days and it's the fashion as well.....but still love the classic h/cuts for the mature man..

What do you recommend for a beard that doesn’t grow that long?

Rock a short beard.
Leave it alone for awhile (a couple of months, anyway) and give it time to grow out as much as possible. As it is coming in, use some beard oil (out of the shower is best) so it won't itch as much. You can shape it by evening out the cheek lines and trimming the neckline (a finger or two above the Adam's apple). Hope that helps.
First time I’ve seen someone use straight edge and go against the grain for the cheeks. In grown hairs are more likely to occur but it does get a closer shave
if he exfoliates his face after the shave that helps prevent in grown hair as well

Nope, I’m Italian and my local barber gives me a perfect smooth fade. I think this type of “fade” is more like a North Italy’s thing.

@@NmBeats i'm from north italy and if I want a fade they give me a proper fade, if I want a disconnected cut they give me a proper disconnected cut; there is no north or south fade, just the cut the customer ask for.

I believe She is a true Master of her craft. She simply cut his hair the way she had been taught. It takes a Master to make a Master. The client was please with his look and happily paid for the service. She got paid for the cut, shave, and the shampoo. Not to mention the use of the straight razor which happens to be extra. Yeah She did use the 14 strokes but She didn’t cut him either.

It looked more like an side part undercut with a beard clean up, not a "fade".
