As a barber student she showed a lot of things I wanted to see with her shears (neck taper - point cut vs blunt cut - blending top into sides)
The Cola as another barber student I wasn’t really impressed. We’re taught all clipper over comb, a 6 guard? That’s ridiculous. Supercuts could’ve done that.
I think Andy did a wonderful job-barber student or not, understanding what one does in a situation with detail helps the person coming in for the hair cut, too.

Stylist/Barber double threat. She definitely knows her stuff. That looks like a $80 haircut. It will grow out evenly and Frank will be able to maintain the same style while it grows out. Now that’s what I’m talking about when a stylist/barber knows his/her craft. Awesome excellent job!

I have matched countless barber videos where barbers have explained their work. This is the first time I have EVER been as absorbed and understood everything single step. Andy is a great barber and she shows that she knows her trade! Thumbs up to you sis! You are a true professional!
Maybe it’s just me but Andy puts her clients at ease with a couple of well placed compliments. She makes them feel unique but not in a strange way, in other words even though their hair is a hot mess of swirls,twists and turns she manages them and takes us along the inner workings of her minds thought processes in problem solving her way to making them “ handsome”. She is a master of her craft and a brilliant and articulate woman. I would love to listen in on an interview about her training and personal craft development oh and yes I’d love to hear about the inspiration behind those tattoos.
She is very relaxing, kinda like ASMR vibes without the whispering.

Beautiful work! I have been barbering for 37 yrs and you bring intelligent commentary and skills to your craft! Thank you for utilizing natural hairlines, too many barbers cut into the hairline and the poor client looks like crap in a few days. Great job🤘
Yes always taper unless specifically told by the client, at the beginning of the haircut (they will verbally volunteer it too, lol) that they want the nape blocked with either straight or rounded corners. And sometimes they will request oval or inverted triangle/"V" which I cringe at. Just like mullets or bowls/disconnected cuts, puke......
You got the skill and You care about haircuts. keep it up!
