Currenthill assets are great! Integrating stuff like this puts it in the hands of far more people than just those of us who use mods.

Unofficial mods have a weird tendency to break DCS (especially complex, trigger-laden campaigns like Reflected's work) in the least expected ways. If Currenthill's assets were to become official like Massun's, they wouldn't be ruined after DCS updates, and vice versa, the assets wouldn't ruin DCS.
I haven't the slightest clue what makes some assets official, what are the criterias. I'm as dumb as a bag of rocks when it comes to programming. But I believe it is possible, so I'm hoping.

A workaround for the Jester UI problem in VR is to increase the screen resolution in general settings, and enable "use DCS resolution" under VR tab. Apparently, the 2D "window overlay" is static and low-resolution will make the UI too large to fit into that window overlay. ED needs to make that window adaptive. At least that's my understanding. 🤷♂

Congrats to Massun fo sho!! I genuinely wish ED had the forethought to do the same with Ciribob and the SRS program. Seems like it would be a slam dunk for ED and the manpower they allot to their VOIP could be spent somewhere useful.
I rolled and crashed my phantom before ever getting it in the air... and I loved every moment of it! (Pro Tip: make sure your throttle is not inverted)

I don't know what ED did with the new update, but I'm now getting significantly higher FPS with the Pimax Crystal on Mobettameta dogfight server. It's a 10-20 FPS boost with a steady 90 FPS now.

I played for about 30 min doing some low level stuff in sp... Jester got scared and promptly ejected as we traversed a crest from one valley to the next. Chicken left me all alone in that big blue sky lol

Got to play the f4 phantom a little yesterday with a wso. So far have engaged in a couple fights, none of them fair but equally fun. Have 2 mig 23s, 1 f5, 1 SU33, and claim a moral kill on a f18 stolen from my gunsight by an f16s 120. Out of those engagements only been shot down twice. F18 had f14b kill me, and there was another SU33 I could not lose to save my soul that got me with guns after running out of missiles. It is a very harsh learning process and my poor wso was cussing up a storm when I visually marked people and he couldn't see them on radar XD.
It's finally here! I'm rly enjoying its cockpit, voices, skins and overall external look. It's a lot of fun to join all that ppl sitting on parking for hours and trying to handle, to finally crash at take off attempt xD Btw, did you know it can take up to 24 Mk82 bombs? Module surely worth waiting, I recommend to anyone who haven't purhased yet and as far as i know you can still buy it for lowered pre-order price. Cu in the air!

Wish it was just as easy for other devs to pick up on Razbam aircraft as well as Orbx picked up the South Atlantic, if they indeed did.

Huh interesting I flew the phantom for like 10 hours yesterday, single and multi-crew in vr and didn't really find any bugs. The only thing i saw was the jester menu is a little funky at the moment

I was really hoping heatblur would have better optimized the Phantom for VR out the gate considering how much time they took. It is far worse than the F-14 was when I still had a 1080ti and I'm currently running a 3080 with 64 gigs of 3600 ram...

I spent whole two hours on F-4E yesterday and in that time I only managed to learn to start up, take off and land. I have to say, I though F-15E was complex but F-4E takes that cake and eats it.

My experience with the F-4 is system crashes and small bugs like start-up, i.e. where is the helmet? I see a new patch in the near future to fix most of them. This module is not ready for primetime, sorry.
Someone should make a Shrike tutorial. No clue how to use them.
