Bought a 2007 VStar 1100 this year with only 2500 miles on it, absolutely love it. Great bike.
Me too.
2007 1100 Classic with 6000 miles.🤘
My 2007 has around 35,000 on it. I love the thing.
On my 2nd now. Based in the UK I bought a v star out of the crate. Loved it, me and wife traveling around the UK, rallies etc. traded it in for a 650 Dragstar and a Kawasaki 900 ninja. Anyway 20 years on, I'm back on the 1100 Dragstar, wife can't ride anymore due to ill health, so I thought, I need a nice cruiser so I can get her as pillion. Here i am, standard, stock bike, needs some TLC but absolutely love it
Bought my mom's '04 1100 classic after she couldn't ride anymore and dad turned it into a basket case. One owner, 30k miles, $2k. After hundreds of CZcams videos AND factory tech manuals, I just got the carbs clean, but not assembled and installed when it snowed 😡 I have located 99.99% of the parts, just a couple body grommets missing. A few gaskets later, I'm anxiously waiting for spring in June (Northern MN.) The sound of those Cobra pipes made up my mind, that's the sound for me. Thanks.
UPDATE: Carbs are assembled! 😉
That's my bike, minus all the bells and whistles. Other than a backrest and saddlebags, mine is stock. Not many with that paint job, either. I've only seen 2 others on video and never in real life.
I absolutely LOVE this thing. When you said "maintenance free", you weren't kidding. Other than changing the oil and air cleaner, I have never had to work on mine until my starter clutch went out last year. 16 years and this thing has never so much as hiccuped until then.
Nice to see someone else appreciate them. Thanks.
I have the same bike in silver. 3105 miles. Original owner. Never seen rain, always covered in the garage. Love it.
All you seem to need now is an oil filter relocation kit. Beautiful bike. I have a 2000 and love it
I have a 02 VStar 1100 that I bought new, gloss black, chromed out the wazoo, with gangster whitewalls like this one shown. Mine has the entire Silverado upgrades from Yamaha, not to be confused with the Standard Silverado that was sold as stock. I bought new as a XVS Classic, then added the full premium Silverado upgrade, per Yamaha’s parts catalog at the time. V and H pipes, rejetted with a Kuryakin Hypercharger that boosts power approximately 8 percent. Mine is meticulously maintained and garaged . I switched from the standard Yamaha oil to a full synthetic ( Royal Purple ) about 15 yrs ago and it runs smoother and cooler and also shifts more smoothly as well. I have a HD Fatboy that I just switched over to Amsoil with great results. Regardless of what you ride, I believe the synthetics are the best way to go.! Great Vlog!!
Awesome. I'm probably about to purchase a 2002 Yamaha XVS1000 V-Star Classic. Also a single owner bike. I'm glad I saw this video.
Just picked one up I had road kings for years but haven’t been able to ride in 9 years due to health and hip problems do I picked one of these up mint mint condition for 2600 and a voyager trike kit just to ride again I figured I d go back to the road Kong’s or street glides in a year or so but have fallen in love with this bike reminds me of my 77 FLH I think I ll keep it and run it for ever there awesome keep it handle bars up gentlemen god bless
I have a 2005 V-Star Classic and I love it they're awesome and most of all affordable after so many years I had a little problem with it took it into Honda it's running top-notch now awesome bikes
What a beauty. Love it. Thanks for sharing 👍 😊
I was looking at all your videos and i never saw a Yamaha v star 1100 classic before... wow beautiful Moto ..now i am going to look at a 2011 Yamaha v star 1100 classic next week ...3345 Kilometres on it showroom condition . I cant wait to see Yamaha v star 1100 classic ofr the fist time : )
Yes have my 2nd vstar classic had 650 now 1100 great cruiser love it .
I have the same year and color VStar with Hard Chrome pipes. It sounds the same as the one in your video. The only difference is my bike doesn't have whitewall tires and the extra lights on either side of the head light. I love it. I have 25,000 miles on mine.
Just bought a 2004 1100 Silverado up her in Canada. Love it. I want all these options on mine! Too bad it wasn't for sale up here! I would of bought it for sure! I wish the upgrade list was available to view to see where all these options were purchased from, oh well.
Sounds great too
Yeah! Wolverine only got the best of the best!!! Cause he's the best!!! Hope to buy a bike from him one day!
i'm gonna go spend a couple hours on my 95 XV1100 Virago.
Keep the shiny side up :)
I love Yamaha cruisers I bought a 1999 Roadstar 1600cc brand new the only Yamaha I ever bought new when they came out and I seen one I waited for my local dealer to get one I traded in my 1998 Kawasaki nomad 1500 for it . Now I'm riding a 2002 HONDA VTX 1800S I don think I'll ever own anything other than it I love the VTX
Awesome bike I have an 1100 classical also love it
Awesome vid
Nice bike, I have the same with almost the same upgrades.👍😀
It's kinda funny how just when he's passing, he shifted gears. Kinda takes the bite out of the roar.
I have a 2005 VStar 1100 classic I guess the previous owner didn’t take care of it and I’ve had SO MANY problems with it I’m glad to know everyone else loves them but for me I’ve been having so many issues will be upgrading soon to maybe a 1300 but for now trying to stick with the pain in the a** beautiful bike you have there though
Lol.. I own the exact same bike.. Same year, same color, same addons, I even had the started replace recently. Other than the white walls and the fact that mine has 92,000 miles on her, its a twin! (no pun intended)
Just got me one of these today I’ll post a video in the near future
I had one they are good bikes.
VERY VERY VERY NICE
Muhteşem bir Motor harika
Piękna maszyna
I bought a 2000 Yamaha V Star 1100 classic about a year-and-a-half ago I really love the bike but I've had nothing but problems with the front brake system I replace the lines I replace the brakes I replace the calipers master cylinder and it's still drive down the road every once in awhile the front brake lockup I'm at a loss really do now love the bike though
Nice bike but I'm digging the jacket even more, anyone know where I can get one?
These days all Japanese makers made a great Harley
I just got 03 for free!!! Only 600 miles on it!
Got a 05 same bags and seat lol
I'll take 2
I got an 02 custom that looks nothing like that, with a cam kit the only 11-1200 cc bike I’ve lost to light to light is a vmax, I destroy harleys.
Everything ripped off mine, plastic fenders for low weight. Totally different look
cool
what exhaust is it¿? Is an amazing bike and much affordable than harley cruiser ones
He mentioned in the video that it’s Cobra exhaust.
Is 70k high klms for this bike?
Harley’s are ok had one you are paying for the dealership.
I’m sure it’s gone , I just didn’t hear the price
I had a 1995 honda magna 750 had a guy message me wanting to trade found out he had a 2004 vstar 1100 with just under 12,000 miles he just had his 3rd knee surgery and couldn't hold it up anymore he wanted something smaller traded title for title
😍😍😍😍🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱
That’s a lot of chrome to polish
mam to cacko jest czym polatac
hey Kaplan how tall are you?
6 2
Is this a good bike for a person that 6 foot 2 in I wonder how tall is the guy on the video
I'm about 6 foot n I have lowered my bike a little over 2 inches and still have the floor boards on it with barons dt pullback risers with a thick mustang seat n it's pretty comfortable but been thinking about apes n forward controls n a lower profile seat to fix that on top of the bike feel 😉
He says in the video he is 6'2".
looks like its taking him a good half mile or so to get it up to speed, is it that slow?
Not sure where you got that, it's accelerating fine. Slow shifts on rider's part, if anything.
I have a 650, how does the 1100 do at interstate speeds (80 mph here in Wyoming)? the 650 has a hard time and I feel like I'm gonna get run over.
Looking for a bigger bike so doing research.
Had a Kawasaki Vulcan 800 I outgrew in 5k miles. The 1100s sound and run great on the highway , that's why I want one. 800s will have your hands and head vibrating hours after a long ride. 1100s sound like tracker motors while the 800s sound more like sport bikes
Is this too big for my first bike? I’m 5’6 /165 lb
No
@@KaplanCycles dope thanks for your reply!

@@honda200twinstar3 Personally I wear a helmet but I don't want you or our CROOKED politicians dictating to me what I can and cannot do unless it harms ...OTHERS.
Don’t ride anymore 18yrs enough!
Looks like a Pimp’s bike.
Huggy bears bike to ride the ho's
That aint American!
Neither is a Harley, Japanese parts !
@@stephenquast8117 I thought the parts came from India?
@@stephenquast8117 Harley uses the very best China 🇨🇳 has to offer.
V star 1300 is much better bike than 1100. Comes with belt driven final drive/ easy fr maintenance. 1100 comes with shaft driven final drive difficult & expensive maintenance. Facing frequent problems with starting clutch. 1300 has got more comfortable drive.
