I believe you just switch the positive and negative terminals to get it to go in reverse. Just like you would wire a winch motor. You can also use a power window motor in this application. They have a lot of power and are actually wired both ways with the original switch.

Make a T put it in the jack and turn it with a drill . Or weld a nut on the jack and use air gun& socket .
