I never thought that I'll relate to the lyrics and the emotions of this song as at this part of my life. I have never imagined that my mental health will reach such a low point that I'll not even want to fight the immense sadness and emptiness that I'm feeling now. And gosh,it is so hard to be lonely, but is even harder when you don't wanna reach somebody for help as you feel helpless.
This song hit close to home after my mom's suicide. I had people around me who i thought i could trust and i didn't realize until a year or two later that they were using me to get to the life I'll insurance money she left for my sister and I. I had no clue, because they were people who had been there prior to her to her death. So i didn't think I had to watch my back or that was on my own in the end. It hurt... it really did. My little sister and I just lost the most important person in out life in the most horrific way and the people who we thought we could trust the most to help us through this scary and tragic time... ugh. Money makes people ugly.
