Her parents were in the front row when she did this concert, there was a documentary about it. Her parents were in tears for this song as well. And in the interviews Floor is about as down to earth as you get, for someone who is 6' 1". I had never listened to Nightwish before reactors, and now I cannot stop hearing them, all at the wonderful young age of 57.

Floor is a transcendent talent, her tone, range, pitch & control are simply amazing ... and her stage presence & story-telling is just incredible!! And the band - the band are all masterful musicians. Together they present a synergistic glory that is completely and utterly indescribable. Music should evoke feelings - it is after all, as Tuomas has said, the sound of emotions. and Nightwish and Floor personify this perfectly.
My mother sings soprano in a performing chamber choir and when she sings at home she hits notes that stop you dead in whatever you are doing and make you tear up. The resonance of the note seems to touch your soul and it is that which uses tears to express its love.
One of the first ones that I heard from them, all the way back in the 90´s (Oh christ how the time flies :D ) It hooked me instantly, and made me get to know more of this band... haven´t have to regret one bit, it´s been a great ride since! Nice to have you in the same rollercoaster as well, enjoy the ride with them :)
This was written for an eclipse in 1999. One of the only times they did a song on request, with restrictions. It was to be under 4 minutes and a ballad.
To hear Tarja and Floor sing this beautiful song together would be the musical highlight for me!

This just sends me into a state of bliss. Toumas may not like writing songs "on commission" as it were, but I'm glad this got written. The Nightwish world would be a poorer place without it. We're armed now. Bring on the next eclipse!
