I am going to share everything I know to help you get your DTF Film to go through your sublimation printer!
In this tutorial, I am demonstrating all of the tips and tricks that will help you get the right settings on the computer or the right settings on the printer, that have worked for me.

After trying all of the tricks on several youtube videos I still could not get the DTF flim to feed correctly in my Epson 2850. As a last resort I tried a single stripe of wide painter's tape up the back center of the DTF film. This works everytime in my printer. Be sure to remove the painters tape before curing the ink and powder on the heat press or whichever method you use for this. In addition I always put a small X at the top left of the print side of the film. I tend to be a little clumbsy due to me age and may drop the film and this helps me to easily know the correct print side.

Yes, I'm connected to computer , my husband helps me with the updates on computer items and that's a territory I'm not familiar with so I stay in my zone if you know what I mean. Lol . I'm holding to see if it corrects after a while, who knows it just might.

I found a trick for getting the film to feed better. Put a piece of painter tape on a piece of regular paper and leave a small amount to adhere to the film. The printer will grab the film and paper together. Try this hack it does work.

Loved this video!! My first 2 went through great!! I thought this hack is great. Immediately tried to print a 3 one. Hasn't printed on the dtf since then.😢 I will certainly try your tips. Fingers crossed😊😊😊😊

Yes I have, just using htv.
Well, I have always succeeded when printing the DTF but for some reason this time I can't seem to have a break through no matter what I have tried. My issue is the design is not completing all the way. I have an Epson 2850 and it's practically new. Go Figure, maybe someone has experienced this as well and can shed some light on this.
Oh, and yes painters tape work miracles for the machine to feed everyone , in most cases.

Do you have your printer directly connected to your computer? I have found that helps to get full prints.
Crystal Ann from Design Bundles should, instead of using the files, she used parchment paper, and it worked. I haven't tried it yet, but I will at some point

She may have meant film instead of files. You can get precut parchment paper.
Great Video! Question, When I try to print my image in landscape mode from my Epson 15000 it will not let me. Can someone shed some light on what I need to do to correct this please.
What program are you printing from?
I cant get my 15000 to print on the film at all 😢... I am bummed out. My ET4800 does fine printing on the film no extra sheets or nothing but 15000 is a no go... I am crying inside lol
Have you tried printing out a design with all black words on the et 15000? I can't get mine to print without roller marks. Thank you for the video.
You are very welcome. I have only used mine to print colorful images. Have you tried decreasing the density?
@@CraftingwithDelonda I finally got a great print. Set my density at -15, used thick paper setting, photo paper glossy and standard print. I'm so happy.

I would say yes
Delonda my computer prints correctly on plain paper, but when I put the film in it does not print the picture completely. I have a Mac computer, do you know what I can do to make it print the whole picture
I would start with the printer drivers from the Epson website. When that happened to me, I updated the drivers and that resolved it.

I do have epson 2720 and epson 15000 but I do not see all that option printer advanced and I use apple mackbook. How can I do to see the option you have? Thank you.
You have to download the drivers first.
Mine also does not have the printer advance and I use the Mac computer

if I go to the drivers and install drivers and utilities combo package installer it adds a whole new printer, so what do I do I notice there are some that say Drivers underneath the driver and utilities. Do I click on one of them instead of the other and if so which one should I download? I am so sorry that I am being aggravating, but I am getting so aggravated with putting the film in and its only printing a little bit and stops.@@CraftingwithDelonda

That never worked for me. I tried that first.
No matter what I do it will not print On the DTF , Epson. 15000 just feed the paper say paper jam no issues with other paper printing have no problem with 4700 with printing on DTf
Have you tried the new DTF film from Yamation? It is thicker and it is the same size as regular copy paper.
