đ„đ„đ„đ„Thanks for the Density & Thick paper envelopes tip!
Yes! I was so happy to find that. I hope it helps you.
Thank you for sharing!đ
Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much! Finally, some thing that worked.
YEEEAAHHHH!!! I am so happy it worked for you
Very clear and very helpful information. Thank youđ
So nice of you! I'm glad it was helpful.
Thank you!!
you are so welcome :)
the thick paper did it for me..thank you soo soo much. Just using a cheap epson 1810 for A4 and it works wunderfull.
Wonderful! Glad it worked.
8:29 what are the visible dark streaks? Doesn't look like they are on top the film but still visible. Your efforts to document are greatly appreciated. Amazing clarity and attention to detail is spot on. - thank you!!
I just looked back, and you might be referring to the black ink at the very top? That is where the masking tape is that I taped a regular sheet of paper to the film to help it feed through my printer.
Hi I'm just watching your wonderful video I was just wondering if you know how to get roller marks off when using a Epson surecolor f170 I would appreciate any info thank you
I do not have experience with that particular machine - but what worked for me is to lower my density and saturation, as well as clicking the envelopes feature - so the rollers actually rise up a bit from the film. (Truthfully, taking off my rollers were the best thing I could have done - and it does not effect my regular sublimation printing at all)
Love your video. When I am printing a design on DTF film I am getting little "dashes" around the design. Do you know why this is happening and how to fix it?
I'm glad you liked it. Try dropping your density and/or saturation down. Your rollers are picking up wet ink and smearing it.
Thank you so much for posting this. However when I go into file print from PS and clik on print settings, it doesn't pull up a network properties for my printer like yours does, so i am unable to choose all the options you have. I'm using a Epson ET2803. How do get that box to pop up?
Do you have the printer drivers installed? That dialogue box generates from the printer software -not PS.
Will leaving 5 or 6 rollers on each side still avoid roller marks on full sheet print or just printed images spaced where rollers are removed? What about the 11 x 17 printers - removing outside 5 or 6 rollers mess things up when printing 8-1/2 x 11?
It kind of depends which of your rollers drag. Mine were right in the middle. That being said, I have no issues with switching back and forth from DTF film and sublimation paper.
Are these settings good for using sublimation for tumblers ? Iâm afraid to change the settings because I do tumblers but Iâm wanting to do the dtf hack .
I would not suggest these 'hack' settings for traditional sublimation. I use 2 different presets.
why my epson workforce is printing in a long middle column instead of whole image
That happened to me at first. I found just taping a piece of paper or cardstock to the film solved it.
What is the width of the masking tape you use?
1 inch - but that's just what i had. As long as it's enough for the rollers to grab onto it and pull it through.
Hi đ Maybe you know why after wearing is crack my design? Where is the problem?
I was just reading about another person (on FB) that had this problem. I believe it is from over curing.
Have you had any issues since you removed your roller wheels (like the paper not feeding straight)?
I have not! :) I was very worried about that - but no issues.
@@stacyodesigns Thanks so much. I've been too scared to remove my wheels but I might go ahead & do it.
@@karlaroberts6754 I had been super nervous too. I only have this one printer for my business. But it's all been working out fine. But,....go slowly and get a good hold on those little rollers. They really want to go flying when you pop them out!
@@stacyodesigns What did you use to pop them out?
I just did all of these settings and I still have roller marks. UGHHHH I'm about ready to give up and sell this thing
Oh NO!!! I'm so sorry. You tried cleaning the heads as well?
I did a heads cleaning and it took the roller marks out. I really appreciate all your info & im going to try it! Thank you!!
People want it to work on 100 percent cotton. Not 60/40. This is not really the hack. This is how 60/40 should look just about. I would like to see this done on 100 percent cotton and washed two or three times. On most of the hack videos they don't even wash it.
Here is a wash test I've done. czcams.com/users/shortsXk8QFOfTMs4?si=OaFhxnwjRtIJaKXY
Also, I have many shirts I've done for myself that have held up beautifully :)
