    Thanks for the info, looks great! I was wondering, would you put a clear coat over this to protect the engine from rust/etc since you sanded it down to bare metal, or would the polish act as a barrier to help seal it? Thank you.

    Ok great job.Should this be now clear-coated,with like, Automotive Duplicolor aerosol spray in a can? I was thinking of doing this also with clear coat?ty 100-100

    Why not use a "sanding sponge" vs sandpaper. Much better for nooks crannies curves and whatnot...

    can u tell the differecne between anodized aluminum or factory clearcoat? is paint stripper what what you need in all situations where there is pitting or just to use on clearcoat
