I have written the RPAT 3 times scoring 4.44, 4.45 and 4.55. I did everything possible to enhance candidacy. Eg. tried auxiliaries but told there was no funding, I found outside funding but was then told that there was no time, then I could'nt get a call returned. Someone I know was accepted into the auxiliaries, and ultimately as a reg member, because of a personal connection. While RPAT score may play a role belive me when I tell you that you are better off to be related to or knowing someone.

If you are honest about your past thats all they want. They hate lying and will find the truth so come clean with them and be good.

@manudemon here in canada they overlook those things, they wouldnt prefer that youve had a slight drug past but if you say youve smoked a bit of weed growing up it tends to be overlooked, as long as you dont lie

I am in the process currently studying for this exam but my main issue is MATH I am extremely terrible and mentally challenged in this area so most likely ill fail this portion 100% as my brain process nothing number wise I have tried many times in the past in school and other job exams my brain just retains absolutely nothing sadly. The rest of the stuff he mentioned like English stuff thats something that is hit or miss you cant really study for just understand the questions on the exam before answering shit. The memory portion and recognition again is something you know and wing it nothing you can study for I guess...

I just took mine on July 21st. I am also terrible with math and I passed with 73%! Study hard and you'll be just fine👌 Some books i would recommend are "Barons Canadian Police Exams" and "PolicePrep Canadian Police Exams". Good luck!!

I missed the P.O.S.T test in california by 2 points. Is the difference between a point a few questions wrong or right and is it hard to get two more points right on the test? I scored high enough to go to the academy and for a few police departments but not for the one I wanted. Any advice will be great.

is it based on how many answers you get right or wrong? or as long as you leave nothing blank ? because I am mentally challenged in math been like that all my life sadly...

Hi, thanks for your posting. It's interesting. I am processing to become a police officer, for GRC. I have already and successfully passed the Rpat test but here, some people argue that RCMP/GRC is sort of official papers, or kind of autorisation to work in federal areas, in all the country. My question is: As a mechanical, do you think i can realise my dream to become peace agent and work hard to give the community all the talent i have.

They will consider you only if at least 3 year of sobriety...unless you lie and it is not discovered at polygraph you could be lucky!
