Pirates use to go through Sabastion Inlet in there small boats trying to reach the Indian River after a heist many capsized because it can get so rough. My late uncle found a Spanish gold coin metal detecting in the 70s.
Inlet was made in the 50's post WWII, doubt they were pirates then
I called it when I saw the video title. I've seen them in your diving videos of the inlet, but never saw you catch one until now.👍
Watching that thing in the rocks gave me anxiety... awesome catch dude!!
OMG, honestly, I would be satisfied just with those breams!
(in Malta they are taken when they are just a few inches, they never get to grow that big)
Just given her hell on that tsunami gear loving it man
I'm ready to go deep-sea fishing 🎣😄
Nice job on the Cubera!!! and bleeding your fish hate when people just throw it in box and have a bloody mess at the fillet table.
Amazing job!!! BIG CONGRATS! Landing that Cuberra requires a lot of skils and plenty of luck. Enjoy it! Epic catch!!!
I used to watch you skim now I’m learning how to fish an found u on CZcams
Haha. The good ol' days!
Truly record breaking day on the water 👍
Great catch Joey a cubera wow , did not know they come so close to the shore . Joey keep up the good work!
Awesome catch! Congrats! I am from Illinois and have only been able to fish Sebastian inlet once. I tried very hard to catch a Snook using live Croakers, but never got a bite from anything. After 3 hours without a bite, I gave up. It was my first try at saltwater fishing. I guess I have a lot to learn. I am going to try the inlet again, in about 3 weeks. Love your videos.
Yeah sebastian is either feast or famine. Local knowledge and experience really helps.
What a Catch bro!
Its 1st time 4 me 2 c this fish, Kia mihi.
Congrats on your first inlet Cubera!!! Stoked for ya man!! Keep up the videos and happy fishing!!!!
Joe, that’s incredible. I had no idea Cabrera’s were around that area. But I’m from Texas so. But wow, that was cool. Great job.
Great catch. The first few you caught is called a Blacktail in South Africa...good eating...
Awesome catch!
They are the most awesome of the snappers in my opinion. Such a beautiful fish!
Looks like a killer spot. Nicely done.
So sick!🔥 Congratulations!!!👊😎
Woo big fish
Big fish on light tackle. Joey showing off those skills today 🤙🤙Nice vid
Nice fishing my friend 🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣👍👍👍
Awesome job of playing that Cubera out Joey. You’ve definitely put in the time bro. Sweet video!
Just got a 5lb cubera on the flats off jungle trail on sunday. Pretty work joey
Awesome catch
Dave is going nuts
Nice fish.Looking forward to the jaw mount!
Great Video!!! Dang that's a awesome fish!!!!
That’s a nice fish Joey. Can’t wait to see the jaw mount. That one will make a bunch of tacos. Great video buddy
A spot tailed pinfish huh?? Not sure if we have those on gulf side. Good eating too?? A pinfish?? Have to try to get one
8:55 this is gonne be a giant snook…
BIG OLD SUMMERTIME BREEDER..… LMFAO... best thing you said this year…
whahahahahahahaha.
BTW i am guilty.. you got me! XD
Nice cubera bro. I had one run off on a plug south tip! Tight lines
Dude that’s freaking SICK‼️I noticed how pumped you were😂
You can definitely hear a difference between when I catch a snook and when I caught that thing. Out of all the fish I've caught in that Inlet that's probably my most "prized" catch.
Joey Antonelli mannnn if anyone feels you trust me I do😂
I was there when you caught that snapper and snook it was a good day at Sebastian Inlet that day. I just subscribed!
the last fish....in malaysia we call it mangroove jack or siakap merah
Very cool Joey 👍👏
Congrats Braddah 😎🤙🏾
Wicked catch! Good job dude!
There is just NO way to social distance while pier or jetty fishing. 😅 Crazy shit this year. 💯
Congrats
Great fish brother
Best youtuber out there great video.
what material did you use in this fishery, line, bait and etc
I've never fished salt water in my life, so I've never even seen any of the fish you catch. Plus I live in Northwestern BC,Canada.
Ahhh that’s sick, nice catch bro
Do you fish at Sebastian a lot?
Nice fish
You should come to Bonta spings watch old man catch 40 plus inchers on 10 pound test power pro .
Bro I'd kill for a snapper that size!! Pretty awesome catch considering it being a cubera, you don't see those that close in the Inlet too often. Btw, would you happen to know when the big mangroves going to start running....I'm really trying to get on some good ones this year. Great video man!👍👍
I've caught a few nice mangroves around the inlet lately. You can count on them showing up when the small greenies are all around.
Wait is the pier open for you guys? I’m in Naples and put piers are still closed down!
Nice catch! Such a bad a** looking fish.
Sick video Joey!
We call those Ring tail porgie's in Jax.
Does anyone know the song that plays while he’s filleting? I can’t seem to find it and I really like it
Let you go Jim Yosef
The best and chennel broader.. good lucky
1:53 we can them blacktail here in South Africa.
That was a fatty Capt.!! Good work. Thanks for sharing.
Really babying him. While palming spool lol.
The meat was beautiful, how does it taste? Eaten plenty of mangrove but no cubera.
Friggin sweet bro!!
Sounds like you got some reverb going on there
I just love to smell the salt water 💦
Do you ever bring your catch home and cook them
Watch to the end. He brought it home and fillet him
@@cindycunningham3026 he kills it right after he caught it did you watch the video
Sean Meyers hahaha
You are werd
WoW bring him in
They make a great skull mount
Yours look cool. Never tried one.
Joey Antonelli I have a couple big blacks and a cubera in the freezer to do now. 55lb cub and 103 black
It’s definitely a puzzle but gets easier after you know the pieces.
Joey you said that the snook season was closed and we are starting our summer fishing, Question is what is the summer at the inlet?? what do you fish for in the summer there??
Dunno where you're from, but for me, summer in SoFla is all about the mahi 😃 just not at the inlets. Like Joey said, a permit, or maybe a cobia if you're lucky. Keeper redfish wouldn't suck either. How about that cubera though, 10lb test lol, sick.
What hook size and splitshot are you using?
Really nice!
Cuberas will eat good up to about that size you caught there. But as they get bigger, the meat get's tougher and is not as good.
When are you gonna get us a tsunami promo code. Hahaha keep up the awesome videos man
It's crazy how there are so many of them yet only one or two are landed every other week on good bite
Awesome
What all kinds of good eating fish do y’all catch from the jetty’s there?
do you ever fish south jetty
Brought one up 2 weeks ago too.
Thats Awsome
What rod and model are you using?
How do you pop them like that
Is 32” inch snook not a keeper thought between 28-32 was okay to keep ?
Nice fishing buddy 👍👍 👍👍 👍....what jetty is that? Looks super long...
Sebastian Inlet
WHERE ARE THE CUBERA JAWS. CLIP DUDE ..??
Ya need Dave!
I only got 1 in the tidal pool 19 not a toad but Awesome.
I was there in the making of this video!! I didn’t say what’s up because I didn’t wanna bother you!!
Amazing !
We r going there today
Which bridge is that?
Awesome fish ! I know alot of them get confused with our large mangroves, cant wait till i can catch one of the monsters out on the offshore bar. Ive seen one well over 50# diving Ft. Pierce. And seen much larger caught off Stuart!
Where is that pier?
Thanks for following me on Instagram
Pin a mullet to the floor in the rocks at the tip
Some nice fish! The audio and all that reverb was a pain to try to listen through tho. Nice vid
Nice!
Epic
Bro I love your Chanel i just hope that maybe we can fishing together 🎣
You should reach out to Dexter knives and get a sponsorship, unless you have one with Bubba blade already. They sponsor Victor from Landshark fishing and maybe looking for more ambassadors!
I've got Cuda, Bubba, Victorinox, henckel, and Dexter. Dexter is my favorite. Best bang for the buck. Just picked up an 8" serrated for tough cuts and it's insane how easy it cuts through scales!
how do you bleed fish like that?
Joey is this location sanibel
1:50... where doest this echo come from?
His Gopro; the audio on them sucks.
I got smoked three times on the jetty farther back towards the beach from where you're at
Man fort inlet people think they mangroves snapper over there.
