I graduated a long long time ago 😆. For IFC frats you had to get on a list by like 6pm on a Friday. If you weren't on that list chances of getting in were slim slim. You walked up to the frat showed your student ID and said what brother you were under, and you got in. So you had to know, or know somebody that knew a brother to get you on that list. The beer was UNENDING! I see things totally changed nowadays. Frats were 100% free. I was on a list every weekend until 21, then you go to very little frat parties...you went to bars. Great times!

Penn State removing the statue of George Whitefield in 2020 just so you never have to discuss how slavery was an institution all over the world in every societies origins, before the U.S was established.
The 50 slaves of George Whitefield, the ones who wrote, wrote of Whitefield as a good man and a happy Saint. . . Whitefield also established letters sent out to Maryland, Virginia and South Carolina of the abuses within the institution of slavery.
The establishment of societies worldwide have always consisted of slaves. "Slaves" that were often treated fairly, OFTEN didn't want to leave, even when given the chance due to their human value being highlighted by the Christians. . .
But instead, you'll just dance to the rhythm of the music unaware of the lyrics.

Hey ...i got accepted at smeal in penn state and i will be coming this year ...i am from India..so i wanted to ask is it easy for international stundents to get along eith everyone?
And is smeal actually that hard ?😂
Cause i got my decision in 15 days😂

    • @StephOliver

first, CONGRATS!!! and Smeal is definitely manageable!! i have a couple friends in it that are doing really well. If you got accepted into straight into Smeal, Penn State admissions feels that you will succeed! that’s awesome:) In terms of being an International student, I do not think that will make you “stand out” negatively or anything, just make sure you are putting yourself out there and try to meet people beforehand (through social media) so that you can move in and have people to talk to automatically!!

i know that business is a competitive major at penn state and i have a weighted gpa of 4.57. do you personally think i’d be in good shape and have a chance of getting onto the main campus? i do a few clubs but no sports btw. i’m just stressed that i won’t get accepted because i don’t know how competitive and hard it is to actually get in

Just came back from the University Park tour. At the information session they said that the middle 50% of students who got in UP have a GPA of 3.59-3.93 (not really sure if weighted or not but your're good if you have a weighted gpa of 4.57). I'm sure you'll be fine. The UP acceptance rate is 58%

I have a 4.1 GPA and applied for Penn State’s business major recently, and I got rejected but accepted? They accepted me into the 2+2 program. (2 years at Penn State Abington and then 2 years at Penn State Main Campus.)
