Great inspirational story! I agree that financially rewarding good governance is a good idea to fight corruption in Africa however, many great African leaders have been murdered, exiled, emprisoned with the help of "outsiders" (europe, america etc.). One cannot fully address the issue of governance in Africa without addressing outside influence.

This gentleman is more loyal to Egypt than to his homeland (Sudan). His prize of good leadership reminds me of a bus owner who typed at his bus in big fonts that (tomorrow anyone could ride the bus freely). This villager knows very well that tomorrow will never come. Similarly MO Ibrahim knows well that Africa Will never produce good leaders in the near future. It is all about show and fame.
