  • God & Polygamy? For Christians and non-Christians alike, anyone interested in the political marriage debate will want to know and understand this important story from the Bible.
On May 7, 2012, using a storytelling-style, National Polygamy Advocate ™ Mark Henkel presented this important speech before a live, non-religious, non-polygamous audience. This entertaining presentation shows that not only does God NOT oppose polygamy, but the Bible specifically declares that God even claimed responsibility for giving ALL of David's wives and kingdom to David.
To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the modern Christian Polygamy movement, this very special speech was released on that special anniversary day, July 4, 2014.

Good to see you posting again. You should set up a whiteboard and do this on a more frequent basis teaching the youtube viewers directly. If you did a Chris White (BiblePhophecyTalk-com) delivery style it would be very effective. Personaly I'd like to hear you teach on how to win the 1 man, 1 woman debate with in Christian circles. My definition of marriage that I present when discussing marriage is; The coming under/or receiving under of headship.

Thanks @107442181437134718352 The days of free speaking are done, because we have much larger and more expensive bills that we have to pay in order to advance our movement. For that reason, as much as I truly appreciate the good idea you suggest, it will not be happening any time soon. Good for you in seeking to persuade Christians. I would counsel that the "headship" position will fail you almost every time, except perhaps in the most rabidly anti-feminist types of churches. I do have videos that WILL work, though.
Doctrine-wise, in addition to the video on this page here, there is also:
"Bible NEVER Created One Man One Woman Doctrine"
Beyond doctrine, but emphasizing the values Christians would embrace, I would also recommend:
      "History & Importance of Love-Not-Force"
"The Power of Attracting Woman's Choice"
"Gotta Make Them Happy (Polygamy is NOT Easy for the Guy)"
"Peeling the Onion (of WHY I Do What I Do)"
      "Irresistible Force & Immovable Object."
And of course, because of the extreme credibility it brings, I would recommend lending your own copy of the DVD of the YALE Speech too.
You will be able to find all of the above on the VIDEOS tab on my youtube channel here.
Thanks again, and keep on a-spreadin' our message.

    late but still writing...
I wanna ask you something about King David and Mikal(daughter and princess of Saul)...
Acording to the Scriptures... i'f Mikal had another husband after David, was she free, from King David ..?
I know that King David paid a big price for her... and He owned her... but acording to the Law of God was King David able to enter (sleep with) by her ... again..?
We do not know i'f king David contacted her, sexually, after he get her back... but one is sure, *they do not have childrens together* ...
    Now, i ask:
*it is possible that God let a "jessebelic spirit" over her, to keep her away from king David (then, with the dancing before the arch of the covenant)?*
... did this *spiritual emancipation* has something in common with the prophecy from the book of *Isaiah chapter 2-3-4:1* ???
    *(because...)*
I think, Poliginy is the way God will humble the daughters of Sion, the 7 churchees of Christ from the book of Isaiah (2-3) to the book of Revelation (2-3)...
*God will keep us humble, a n d, in this way we will be "open" to be worked out by Him.*
    Amen.

This is not an easy thing to live out. If you’re not wanting to make waves and just wanting to have a plural marriage then somebody has to hide who they really are in a lot of places. It sucks that every type of marriage is celebrated these days except for this one
Also, it’s incredibly complicated. With a monogamous relationship it’s only one relationship A+B. Add one person to it and then it becomes four relationships. A+B, A+C, B+C, A+B+C

The Bible on Women and polygamy
Deuteronomy 17:17 Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not away; neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold.
Mark 10:7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife, and the two shall be one flesh.’ So then they are no more two, but one flesh.
    1 Timothy 3:2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach;
1 Timothy 3:12 Let deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.
In a question from the Sadducees about marriage in the next life in Mathew chapter 22 Jesus answered: Jesus answered and said to them, “You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven.” According to Jesus we will not be married in the next life nor will we become Gods but become like the angels.
In the old testament there are many men that had multiple wives. God never once commanded it, yet He allowed it just as He has allowed other sins. As with other sins there are consequences to our actions.
God, the Creator of mankind, ordained monogamy (one man and woman in marriage) - Gen. 2:21-24
Noah and his sons only had one wife each (Gen. 7:7; 1 Pet. 3:20).
Sarah & Hagar - Gen. 16:1-6 This polygamous relationship produced conflict, grief & pain for all involved. Hagar was left to die in the desert.
Esau deliberately entered polygamy, which marriages brought grief to Isaac and Rebekah - Gen. 26:34-35
Jacob stumbled into polygamy through the deceit of Laban - Gen. 29:18, 27-28
Envy of Rachel & Leah led to his taking Bilhah & Zilpah as wives - Gen. 30:1-13. Jealousy, competition, conflict, hatred and deception resulted from these polygamous marriages!
Solomon (1 Kings 11:1-4) - 700 wives and 300 concubines (secondary wives) - They turned his heart away from God unto idols.
According to the bible it is clear that multiple wives was and is not the desire of God. It’s not Gods desire because God is love and the practice brings jealousy, and contention, not love.
Jesus said I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. There is an abundant life in the Jesus of the bible.

Darin Hibbert Why did God tell David he would have given him more wices if he'd asked?
Why does God's Law regulate, rather than prohibit, polygyny?
Why did Christ compare himself to a bridegroom who marries multiple women in the parable of the ten virgins?
I suggest you take a look at the following link and see if you can explain any of this away.

I understand that you have allowed yourself to be taught by others to believe the way you do. The scriptures, when allowed to speak for themselves and by themselves, without presupposition, actually say otherwise. To help you in learning more (especiially in regard & response to your reply here), I would encourage you to watch another speech I gave on video. Here it is, enjoy!

Would you not say that it is better to say Polygyny than Polygamy? Polygyny Advocate sounds much better as Polygamy -in today's secular standard - involves more than just Polygyny?
