I just tried with Siri. It doesn’t work, I also checked my settings.
When people talk about Teslas FSD and horsepower take centre stage, but it is the little things like this that make the car a joy to live with. I love being able to plan a route on my phone, share it with the car and have the car know where we're going. To be able to precondition the car in winter, the navigation integration with the suercharger network on long trips, the quiet all adds up to a better experience than any other car can offer.
I just tried using voice commands for the Model Y on my iPhone 14, it doesn't work. Siri says "I need to add the car key on my wallet app," or "install an App."
I am having the same problem. Can anyone help me with issue?
This helps, thanks.....but it did not open trunk or frunk. Says there isn't an app for that.
You need to do it a few time, eventually Siri will start to understand.. amazing

It works for me to unlock and lock car, but I really want to be able to open the trunk. Nothing seems to work. It usually suggests that I need an app for that- but you didn’t. Any suggestions?
Tesla App does all that. Open and closed icon for the Yrunk & Frunk on the first line. But there is no voice on it at present time.
Siri is problematic if you have the Tessie app installed. It asks "which app" if you have Tessie connected to your Tesla.
This is helpful. How about for Google phones? Can I use Google Assistant voice commands?
Please be a bit more specific for this 87 yr old Tesla driver. Once I get into Tesla in my iPhone and enable everything under WHILE SEARCHING what else I need to do? Thanks!
Just say “Hey Siri” and flash my car lights, etc.

As of the last update in September 2021, Siri integration with Tesla allowed basic control like unlocking doors, honking the horn, etc. However, more complex features like driving or summoning the car were not supported directly through Siri without 3rd party apps. Keep in mind that developments may have occurred after my last update, so it's best to check the latest information from Tesla or Siri's official sources for the most up-to-date features. So this is fact, Siri now controls select Tesla features via voice commands, no 3rd party apps needed! 🗣️ And let's set the record straight: my video is real, calling it fake is a disgrace, utterly baseless!
