best metal band ever on this planet
For us fans, that's no question. Lovebites are great just the way they are. probably the best band I've ever heard in almost 50 years. But it's all a matter of taste. There will certainly be people who don't like lovebites as much as we do.

", unfortunately too much underestimated ..." Well, yes, mostly by people who don't understand and appreciate music theory. This is a musician's band. The enjoyment that comes from hearing how these songs are structured and the tonal satisfaction of the compositions can only be attained by knowing how cleverly and beautifully they are written. Modulations and tempo changes are often secretly hidden away like small gifts. Muted, arpeggio guitar lines that emulate cellos and violins in an orchestra drift in and out, and the bass notes that Fami chooses are like squirts of lighter fluid on a fire. Good Heavens, this is music from somewhere in the sky. It's not from here.
The existential question is:

If you listen closely, the two guitarists also make mistakes in their live concerts. Maybe not at this gig, maybe. Still, it's the most perfect thing I've ever heard live. Mistakes are human, that's part of it. It would be bad if it were otherwise, right?
Each band has enjoyed an influence. For me, lovebites sound like lovebites. I have no idea about all the old school bands. What I do know is that the old school bands never sounded like Lovebites.
