There was the Iphone 14 and 14 pro max, then they launched the Iphone 15 with the processor of the iphone 14 pro max, but without some things, and they made a small upgrade to the iphone 15 pro max. That said, the company doesn't lose anything, it doesn't need to create much, the architecture is already ready. And consumers are spending more money.
In basic tasks, low-performance cores are usually used from what I understand. Exynos 1380 and 1480 have 4 Cortex-A55 cores at 2GHz, The difference is probably made by the more modern UFS 3.1 and LPDDR5 memories in the A55 and perhaps that is why it is faster.
