    As i said, i think you did a great job. ;)
    Many aupair quit their job after a few weeks, because they don't know what an aupair job is.
    And i think your videos from the real life of an aupair can help a lot. :)

      Hey! You don't have to attend German classes. I chose to because I was only there for 7 months and wanted to improve my Germany as much as possible. :) Hope this helps!

    Wow, thank you so much these videos are so helpful! If you don't mind me asking, how much per month did the language course cost and did you have to pay for it?

    • @savtuma
      @savtuma  Před 2 lety +2

      glad you like them!! I had to pay for half my language course and the family paid for the other half. If I am remembering correctly, it costed around 350 euros per month. I took classes at Speakeasy in Berlin!

      Hey, it really depends on the family. Most of the time, I would say yes! But, I've heard in some cases that the family will cook for there kids.

    Thank u for this video. I want to ask you few questions. Can we learn upto B2 level of German while being an Au pair ?? Will it be paid by the host family or do we have to pay ourselves?? And later will there be any problem if I want to convert Au pair visa into Student Visa ?? I hope you will reply to me. Thank u

    • @savtuma
      @savtuma  Před 3 lety +1

      Hey!! Thanks for watching :) Yes, you can learn up to B2 while AuPairing!! This is the level I actually go to!! The family paid for half of my German class and I covered the rest. I don't know about the visa conversion at the moment especially with COVID. I was considering that as well, but then came back to the US because I got into Uni back in California. I'm sure it's possible tho! Thanks for leaving a comment

    Hi, which level of German language to learn and study in order to au pair, and apart from studying german during your au pairing what other studying(activities)were you doing .
    Secondly, are boys able/allow to au pair in Germany?, as cooking and babysitting are natural roles for women not particulary men.

    • @savtuma
      @savtuma  Před rokem

      Hey Magnetto!! I took one semester of German before I moved there! Then took German classes Monday-Thursday every week which is how my German improved so much. Yes, boys are able to AuPair! I do believe more women do it, but I met a guy in my German class that AuPair in Berlin at the time too! :)

    Did you previously know german before going? I'm going to be an aupair in germany soon and I barely speak the language

    • @savtuma
      @savtuma  Před 3 lety +5

      Hey-- don't worry about it at all. When I went to Germany, my german was really bad. I had only taken one semester of german and I could barely speak. I wouldn't worry at all. You'll pick it up soooo easily (esp. during the first month) when you get there. You'll be surprised.
      Don't be afraid to put yourself out there either! Speak as much as you can! Good luck with everything
