Love that area . We always stay in Franklin... Never in Nashville totally different experience.
I agree. Whenever I visit Nashville, I ONLY stay in Franklin.
Nashville has gotten as bad as Memphis. Always 3 or 4 murders and/ or attempted murders on the news.

How can I learn more about Podcamp?
I come to Nashville/Franklin several times a year and so far this year, I have been there five times. I wonder i f any of your friends would rent a room or carriage house to me? I can supply references and information on what I do for a living. I had a bad experience with cleanliness in a hotel where I stayed the last time I visited there. It was in Franklin and the time before that I stayed at a Marriott property right by the mall in Franklin and couldn't get any sleep due to bad construciion. I could hear everything above me including opening drawers. I love meeting people and staying. I am not on messenger but, can be reached on FB. I will be there in June to see Rick Springfield and may even have a extra ticket.

Franklin is long gone. Have fun anyway, I sure did. I'm 62 now but I lived there when I was 20. Complete reality inversion.
Please explain! I’m a native New Yorker but I’ve lived in the insanity of Los Angeles for the last 10 years. Good news is by God’s grace I met my wife here and had a beautiful daughter. We’ve been looking at moving to Franklin and just trying to get as much info as I can. We’re obviously looking to move somewhere that’s more of a Christian conservative community with some fun city stuff close by. If you could shed some light on your thoughts on franklin, it would mean the world. Thanks!

The Scooter was born and raised in Franklin. What he probably mean is that the old Franklin was small blue collar town. Everyone knew and respected one another no matter race or ethnicity. Now Franklin is more upscale cost of living is ridiculous and all the natives are being driven out. The town closes down after 8pm. Great school system, diversity could be better. I can only speak from my point of view. You might enjoy it since you live in the 2 biggest cities in the country. Anything else you wanna know hit me up

As for the schools, I’ve heard that about Williamson county. Good schooling and stuff. And what I think you’re saying is there’s a lot of out of town rich yuppies living there. That’s a disappointing because I come from a borough in NYC that’s very blue collar and all native New Yorkers. Very different from Manhattan and Los Angeles where it’s all rich out of towners who ruin the place. But would you suggest a different part of Williamson county? I know we’re not gonna find a place that stays open late or whatever. I guess I mean some place that’s more genuine, real Tennessee. Spring Hill? Nolensville? Or in another county, Mount Juliet? If any of those beat franklin, let me know your thoughts. Sorry for the long response and thank you for your response bro
The Scooter yeah it’s a lot of wealthy people in the Franklin area well Williamson county period but you still have a lil pocket of below middle class as well. The wealthy people in Franklin are very generous and not snobbish tho. They tend to be more humble and kind if you will. Anyway it’s all about what you looking for. I suggest Murfreesboro. You get more for your money and it’s not to big not to small. It can be a bit congested around 4-6 on old fort but it’s not as bad as Nashville traffic. Mount Juliet is another Franklin. Spring Hill is ok it’s getting a lil pricey too and there’s nothing there other than your basic restaurants. Nolensville is nice but there’s nothing there but a few restaurants and pricey homes. Like I said it’s all about what type of lifestyle you live. If you a family man with kids still in school, anywhere in Williamson county is great. Rutherford county school system is good as well. So Smyrna or Lavergne is ideal as well.if your single and looking for a nightlife. Anywhere in proximity to downtown is ideal.
We just moved to Franklin from Cincinnati earlier this year! Such differences!
Congratulations on the move. Stephanie and I just got back from yet another trip to Franklin this week. We already have plans to go back for another event in early February. We really do love it there.

Race Rocks, Canada average winter temps. Average the day and night temps in Dec, Jan, and Feb.
