Great reaction ! Amira performed the Dutch cover version, by José Hoebee and Bonnie St. Claire (1985), of a song created by ABBA in 1980, The Way Old Friends do.
In Dutch, the beginning is :
Jij en ik, wij blijven samen
Over bergen, door dalen
Zoals vrienden doen.
English translation :
You and me, we stay together,
Over mountains, through valleys,
Like friends do.
Thanks again for another nice reaction to my favorite singer! Actually, Amira was just 13 years old when this song was recorded for her CD album "With all my heart" that was released on March 2nd, 2018. This song is the Dutch version of the 1980 released ABBA song "The way old friends do". The person who made the video you are reacting to didn't translate what Amira is singing. Actually, they just used the lyrics of the ABBA song. The meaning of the lyrics of both songs are similar but the words are different. This is the translation of Amira's song "Zoals vrienden doen" (As friends do):
You and I, we stick together, over mountains, through valleys, as friends do. Through pain and misunderstanding, we dry each other's tears, as friends do. Whether the sun shines or the rain falls, we will make it through. Whatever may come, it doesn't matter. We share everything with each other, as friends do.

I love the way she finishes this song. One beautiful note and holds it.
She has performed in many genres: opera, movie scores, musicals, sacred aria, gospel, crossover, and more recently a piece from Phantom of the Opera. She has performed in at least ten languages. What these performances all have in common is her unusual ability to evoke in her audience an emotional response.
I'm not sure that this was Dutch. It almost sounded Irish or maybe Scottish. Whatever it was, I don't really care what language she sings in.I will listen to her beautiful voice anytime anywhere I can.
I looked it up though and apparently it was written by a couple of Dutch artists.
There is some inner beauty that emanates from Amira and it effects everything we see and hear from her. Although I'm sure she would never believe it, I think she is too good for this world. We are blessed to have her.
I believe that it's her faith. You can see it, especially, when she sings songs of faith. She almost glows.

Have just noticed that another reactor (Grandpa Carl) has played Amira's How Great Thou Art. I don't think you've covered this, but I do believe you would enjoy it. A studio version that provides beautiful full-colour photographs with early photos of Amira as a baby onwards.
