This is my favourite version of the aria by Amira. The walking around while singing worries me, but she seems confident enough. She was joined on the stage moments later, and sang another aria - The Flower Duet- with Corlea Botha. It is equally stunning. Later she came back to sing Amazing Grace, which I think you have already reviewed. She is quite exceptional.
Stunning...Amira gliding down stairs, across the stage in that flowing ball gown, perfect posture... Singing Nessun Dorma as she goes...as calmly and confidently as if she was just walking down the street.. insane! 😳☺️

This is my favourite Nessun Dorma, although some prefer her rendition the following year (2018) in her school concert. Some have commented that Puccini did not write the final vincero for Turandot. True, but when the aria is sung as a single item it needs the additional drama that Amira provides.
I believe when you can’t find the words to explain something, in this case Amira, it is heaven sent.
This one isn’t on Holland’s got Talent, she was only 9 years old for that one. This performance is from a concert in South Africa when she was 13. She sang the “Flower Duet” with Corlea Botha at the same concert, well worth checking out.

I can see that you may never have heard this classic from Puccini (Turandot )before. That alone would be enough to move you completely. Traditionally, this is a male song for a tenor made famous by the Three Tenors 35 years ago. When Amira gets on board with this, well need we say more.

@@paulschmehl2124 Hi, does look a bit tricky singing opera and at the same moment moving around on stage in that huge opera dress! But for an athlete who has repeatedly won first prize in her country's national middle-distance marathon runs, maybe it's just not too much of a challenge!

Incredible voice right from she was very young, and she is still young. Amira still moves her arms in the same way. I love, I love her! 💓

In this concert after this aria she walked across the stage to sing the flower duet with Colea Botha it is outstanding .She ended the concert with Amazing Grace a must to hear. which you have already reviewed
This is the most famous aria in opera, mostly because of Luciano Pavarotti. You might try him sometime.
