- Swiss is renowned for its incredibly premium experience! Since the airline's founding in 2002, passengers all across Europe have spoken highly about the airline, and I enjoyed the SWISS Business Class experience!
Swiss is the flag carrier of Switzerland, operating in Europe and to North America, South America, Africa, and Asia. The airline's main hub is Zurich, but they established a focus city in Geneva. I was originally booked in Economy but couldn't pass up the $570 upgrade to what I've heard is Europe's best business class!

My opinion are Swiss the best Airlines in Lufthansa group.Great work
I think so too. Lufthansa business class has suffered in the past few years. Swiss is better in First for sure and now their business has surpassed Lufthansa especially when compared to Lufthansa older a340s, 747s. Swiss 777 is much more consistent then Lufthansa in Business class and First Class.
I am glad that swiss air flight attendants are not saying stop filming towards you and i have to say the meal service is good enough

Very smooth vlog. It's so nice to leave NYC on a nice flight on a wide body traveling to another country. And I'm attached to the Airbus A330 family🙂. Have been on the A330-200, 300 and the 900NEO, which is the advanced A330-300. But haven't been on the 800NEO. Hopefully soon! Very very nice. Please keep coming out with more vlogs!!
Thanks for sharing. Have flown on Swissair & Swiss several times & I must say they’re probably the only carrier that know how to serve warm bread rolls. The plating & meals looked fantastic & yummy.

Im glad you enjoyed the service. I know, T1 isn’t the best terminal at all, and good thing you weren’t at gate 9, which is much worse. It’s a bottle neck because of an unfinished restaurant that Idk when it will be built. Soon, everything will be redone and we will be able to properly serve our passengers better!

I’m curious, you got the amenity kit in an Victorinox tin? I just flew on SWISS earlier last month and it was in a mesh pouch. Did they just change it when I went?
Anyways, glad you enjoyed your experience too! I agree, it’s definitely the top 3 best European airline for me for the food alone. Once the hard product gets standardized, it will really stand out :)

The food looks great, including breakfast. I love Chobani yoghurt. Would love to fly on their A330 one day. My only flights on Swiss were on the tiny Avro regional jets from Switzerland to neighboring countries like Italy and Spain.
I'm curious, why is IFE rated only a 7? They had a lot of my favorite movies such as Casino Royale, Emma and a Fish called Wanda. Death becomes her is one of my favorite black comedies.

I hope to fly this route on a 777-3 in first class sometime next year!
T1 isn’t all that old, but it was never designed to serve so many people and airlines and as a pre-9/11 design, it also wasn’t designed to have such extensive security. It’s planned to be replaced soon.
:42 (ish) - all those airlines, departures and arrivals - T1 might have its drawbacks, but it sure has atmosphere - a gateway to the rest of the world!

They have 14 actually. The registration go from HB-JHA to HB-JHN.
Nice video. I flew Swiss business A330 out of chicago this summer. I felt the seat very stiff and barely could sleep. IFER i found very outdated . Otherwise food and flight crew were top notch. I had better experience on their renewed 340 .
This trip a much better airline and better food. How was the service from the flight attendants? You also did not have to go down a flight of stairs to use the bathroom.

Any idea why the aircraft was parked with the flaps and slats deployed? Looked like they were in position 1.
So, was your monther in coach watch over your food and drink selctions and to be sure that you were tucked in at night ? Being only 12 that is really nice of her!!

I found the flat bed business class seat really cramped. My legs really didn’t have enough room when I tried to sleep, it was pretty uncomfortable
I met the purser at 4:14 on a previous flight in 2019, she gave me a mid-flight SWISS postcard
Why don't you try flying with the Brazilian airline (Azul Linhas Aéreas). It would be a great experience.
Glad there's a priority check in for Star Alliance customers at JFK T1 (Lufthansa, Swiss, and Austrian)
Swiss, Austrian and Brussels Air are not members in the Star Alliance , they belong to Lufthansa Group.
@@Tortinger Double check your info before you reply, they are most certainly Star Alliance members. Lufthansa Group and Star Alliance are 2 completely different entities, as Lufthansa Group is not an alliance like Star Alliance, Skyteam or OneWorld.
LH group is the owner of multiple airlines, just as IAG is.
They just broke ground on a new terminal 1 in Sept. They are really working on the airport these days with new terminals. I would have been more concerned about the very outdated cabin on that flight.

Not yet but those Centurion lounges can be very hit or miss depending on the airport. I’ve been pretty underwhelmed with the few I’ve been to (I know Seattle was one of them)

Very cool flight you don’t see many Swiss air livery anymore since they broke up the original airline after the dc10 crash in Newfoundland I believe it was after making last contact with Moncton atc back in the mid to late 90s due to a devastating fire caused from the first of its kind online gambling terminals on their airplanes which caused a fire in the electrical and overheated computer system. Always wanted to fly Swiss air I had no idea they even had another airline under Lufthansa!
I flew to Europe several times after the collapse of Swiss Air. The national carrier is Swiss. Other carriers include Edelweiss and Helvetic.

Unfortunately my car is having problems. It would not start yesterday and today driving it back from the car dealer it stalled so I had to drive it back.
Ofcourse they will be impatient. Big lineup out there. I dislike folks blocking aisles for unnecessary reasons.
