- Morocco's national airline and Africa's 4th largest airline Royal Air Maroc connects Casablanca to the world. Its fleet of 52 aircraft fly all over Morocco, Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas.
Royal Air Maroc send's their beautiful 787-9 Dreamliners to New York and I flew that route late this spring to explore Casablanca and visit Africa for the first time. Their business class product is unique compared to the European flights I'm used to experiencing!

I flew for 16 years (the last 1/3 as a Purser) and gladly welcomed filming on my flights. If any member of my crew didn't want to be featured, all they had to do was just work another part of the cabin. In my experience, the vocal opposition were usually subpar anyway. If we were having a rough day, everyone else usually was too. I get that not everyone who films "reads the room" but still, delivering world-class service was our job and it was so important to smile through it, no matter what. I cringe when crews get snappy like that FA did. A simple, "Hey just don't film my face but here's the appetizer," goes so far. HOW you say something carries way more weight than typically WHAT you say. Global carriers are such a mixed bag these days. Keep putting out your great content!

Sam Chui was allowed and welcomed to film on board RAM. It is not against the airline's policy.
What's against the law in Morocco is to film and broadcast someone without their consent. You could have just said you will film but will blur people's faces. Also, it is well know that Moroccan female flight attendants are super rude.

Thank you for sharing your great trip here. And you know on these longs flights it is nice to upgrade to Business Class for the leg room to lay down and to go to the lounges at the airport that are available.

As so many have noted, you do a great job of videography...from start to finish. And, may I congratulate you for being so kind in spite of how you were treated by that unhappy flight attendant. Your behavior shows your parents did a great job of raising you because your gentlemanliness, far outshines the bad habits of others.

Excellent review as always. I can't believe that JFK T1 is still a filthy disgusting mess outside. It was bad in the 1990's and I won't need to explain what was on the sidewalk before entering. It stunk to say the least. Great airline RAM.

You reminded of my unique flight from Casablanca to JFK NY via RAM in 1993. I really did not feel the 7 hours flight.

Have flown in the BE Super Diamond many times on AA wide bodies. They are narrow. Can’t go wrong with a Four Seasons. That must be your brother. You look alike. 😂. Safe travels. 👍
Cool! RAM is one of those grail flights and trip reports for me to do, also the country itself. Gonna have to do both RAM and RJ on a single vacation sometime.

Quentin, it's great getting to see some new videos from you. 👍. I really enjoyed seeing the ITA Airways plane as you were leaving your gate at JFK. Their livery is fantastic. That metallic blue is one of the best looking planes I have seen. Royal Jordanian's "green" paint job is another winner. 👌. Your meal service seemed pretty good. I have found that receiving two hot meals on long haul flights isn't that common anymore. It's usually a "crappy" snack for the second serving, even in Business Class. Have you noticed this? Your choice of music for your landing shots was excellent. Hope that you will do a "semi-review" of your stay at the Four Seasons Hotel. I have always been happy with their service and accommodations. Take care buddy and have a fun week.

I almost did this flight back in June. I was planning on visiting Israel, and since I also want to visit the 7 continents I figured a connecting flight in CMN would be the easiest way to get to Africa. Maybe next year.

As a former gate agent myself, I totally get her frustration over her mistake. Unfortunately, the idea of boarding you guys via a packed jetbridge made the situation a lot more awkward. But kudos to her for trying and being proactive.

Everyone should get to experience flying into and out of NYC. Visiting NYC should truly a bucket list destination for everyone. After about 10 trips in and out I am still awestruck by the beauty of NYC. Thanks for your time creating the video and more so, I love when you share video of the cities you've been to. Your videos always brighten up our day. Four Seasons is great about putting up flags of their guest's home countries.

I think some staff get nervous with cameras because i wonder if the so called no recording is a company policy or actually just the staff member working policy? Have you ever had a video you couldn't post because an attendant was just on you 24/7 and just made it impossible?

In many countries it’s banned to film people (including crew) without their consent. It’s someones privacy.

The unnecessary tone and words chosen would have resulted in “I certainly hope you don’t think the camera was pointed at you”, with a smile. And then ask kindly for a drink. Snotty cabin attendant.

Staff friendliness 3/10 and you're in Business class. Imagine what we experience in Economy... especially when they have an all male crew. Weew. It's a disaster. Great video btw.
I flew business on Saudia to Casablanca from Jeddah. Their interior was pretty much exactly the same.
Right - Saudia’s 787-9 interior is the same in a different color scheme (which, I actually prefer). I’ve flown it Paris-Jeddah and Amsterdam-Jeddah. It is a roomy 787 cabin with reverse herringbone and wide footwells, unlike some carriers whose seat designs that are very confining and uncomfortable.
@@pacmanc8103 I also flew the Jeddah Amsterdam round trip on Saudia. It was very nice. I was going to do Jeddah to LAX this coming December, but I found a promotional KLM business class rate from Riyadh to LAX. I just received a refund from Saudia today. Check KLM or Air France at odd hours... you might find something good. They're both in the same code share as Saudia... So the business class seat is essentially the same, only difference is they serve alcohol. I saved a few thousand dollars. Just in time for the holidays.
@@NothingMatterz That’s what I did in March/April: LAX-JED roundtrip via Paris on Air France and Saudia. The AF 777 was roomier than the Saudia 787 but both were nice. Charles De Gaulle, of course, is dated and the international transfer was nightmarish, with a bus that wound around the tarmac, arriving at a very marginal terminal building. Next month it’s Turkish Airlines SEA-IST-JED on 787s. I’ve selected a seat that doesn’t appear too claustrophobic.
