@@Waffleh7454 yes but in scrap mechanic you can choose the physics you want to use. I don't quite know how to describe it but there are different levels

i did this exact thing
but without suspension and a more rigid design
jsut attach one end to a piston that pushes out a little

The small "jerk" doesn't happen at the end, the hit boxes for pipes may be differant, so unless you are doing the exact same build with the same pieces it isn't a fix

All he needs is a bearing at the bottom where his first piston is, he didn't offset it he stretched it

I will say it again
The right bearing didn't had room to be offset bc it was against the rod so the mechanism kept getting "locked"
He should've made the thing 1 block instead of 3 and it would've worked
