Just served this tonight, none of us had had pumpkin pie but we thought it was delicious
Yippee, I'm pleased you've tried something new and liked it. I hope you'll try more of our amazing recipes www.waitrose.com/ecom/recipes. ^Nicki
Looks yummy, easy one to follow, will definitely be making this pastry and freezing it too but can’t find the description box that she says is below?
It's in the description box
@@Ater_Draco Thanks for your reply, thing is I can’t find description box?
Looks lovely! We're planning on trying pumpkin pie this year, so hopefully it turns out okay. Thanks for the tutorial; your teaching style is good and easy to follow!
Y😂t😂t try😂 iti😮😮🎉🎉. 😮O
Very nice. I've never had pumpkin pie before, but this looks and sound lovely. 🎃
I've just bought a pumpkin, so thanks for the recipe. It will make a change from soup. 😀
Don't use those pumpkins we carve might aswell use butternut squash more flavour
Easy cheat is to add Condensed Milk to Pumpkin Puree in a tin, add Cinnamon and put in the pastry.
Do you then cook it? And would it set?
That sounds like a dreamy version!
@@user-yb9jw7xu1m yes.
@@Peaceshiet812 it really is!!
@@adamf8335 how long do you cook it for? Same time as in video or?
Amazing, will try making this!
Lovely collor! yummy It looks delicious 😋
Thank you I always wanted to know how to bake pumping tart as pumpkins are full of nutrients. Looks easy now. How about roasting seeds and sprinkling them on top..
I Iove Waitrose cheesecakes as they are not as sugary as other supermarket's ones and I add lots of berries or fruit pieces on the side with different flavours, especially physalis for sweet/sour taste 😋
Hi Eva, I'm delighted you love our recipes. I know a lot of our customers add some extra ingredients sometimes to give our recipes a little twist. I hope there are others that you'll try. We'd love to see any the results 😉 ^Nicki
How much sugar ?
Hello, you can find a full breakdown of the recipe ingredients and instructions here. Enjoy! 🎃 - spkl.io/60584nIlr ^Nicola
@@waitroseandpartners Thankyou.
Merci pour ta vidéo
I don’t understand how Brits talk about Thanksgiving. There is no British thanksgiving.
Omg how can they do that, so soo bad
She's talking about the Jewish thanksgiving...
@@aboukirman3508 Yeah. Uh huh. Right.
She's not British. She's Irish, it's a separate country, and a republic.
Autumn Thanksgiving = harvest festival. A longstanding Christian tradition.
There's more than one type of Thanksgiving in the world. Did you think USians invented the concept?
@@Ater_Draco She's Canadian. But it is a British company Waitrose who is sponsor and whose page this is, and describes its kitchens in Finchley Road, Kings Cross, and Salisbury. So, British.
As a matter of fact, Americans did invent Thanksgiving, as a national holiday. And we have a date for it every year. When is this British Thanksgiving?
Nice try at retconning this.
Since when did Waitrose became ‘Murican???
The first pumpkin pie recipe was actually British! But it wasn’t a custard style pie. This was also predated by a a pumpkin torte from France
@@danparkinson1685 Oh didn’t know that! Many thanks for sharing your thoughts and this trivia.. It certainly clears up a lot of things!
She's Canadian.
❤❤
Idc abt Andrew he can do what he wants I live in the uk he lives in the USA
Waitrose- pumpkin pie, thanksgiving? What next Waitrose selling coriander as cilantro?
It’s for Halloween you Burke, and it’s to encourage less waste of pumpkins this year that get thrown out after carving.
But she’s using tinned pumpkins (never seen anything like it in the shops but 🤷🏼♀️) she’s not using the pumpkins we carve so not reducing any waste. Just more tins floating around the planet 😅
It’s not that deep… 🙄 🎃
Need to melt marshmallows on the top
Disgusting
If you're a pro like me put a flour in the fridge to
Pov you misclicked
The ingredients not saying how much TALKS SO QUICKLY
It’s not iconic in UK, that would be wonderful Bradley apple pies/ tarts or plums etc. still a nice recipe but definitely not “iconic” outside USA/ Canada
Thanksgiving? You're British LOL
And waitrose isn't even in america
She's Canadian Irish
So what?
@@Midget32 so what okay what if she did a traditional dwahli feast or a eid feast she would get cancelled for cultural appropriation
@@nancyjackson3909 you're trying to culturally appropriate thanksgiving as USian lol. 4 countries on the American continent celebrate Thanksgiving, including the chef's home country of Canada.
Over 80 countries in the continents of Europe, Asia, Oceania and Africa celebrate Harvest Thanksgiving.
Pumpkin pie originates from the UK.
Your comment is just embarrassing.
😛👍👍👍👌👌👌💜💜💜
Quack quack ad nauseam.
*Thanksgiving? Aren't you British English? Stop this curse of americanisation.*
She's Canadian
Canadians and Americans both eat pumpkin pie in the autumn and during the holidays. She's Canadian, but seems to have been in the UK for awhile given her accent. The pie is becoming better known outside North America and its very good - anything but a "curse".
What country is she meant to be? 🤔
She's Canadian. Why?
Waitrose food is so blad and over salted and yet have the audacity to be expensive!! I would rather choose Asda's food over yours.. customer's come fir.... oh wait my mistake... CUSTOMS COME LAST........ Prove me wrong 🤭🫢🤔
