I compare my 2020 Vulcan s to my 2007 Suzuki sv650. Great beginner bike but deadly quick and fun with an experienced rider aboard. When I go to the garage, I usually grab the keys to the 2020 vulcan s over my 06 sv650, 07 Softail night train or the 2012 gsxr 750. Its just so friggin fun and easy to ride even though Ive ground the pegs to nothing twice already 😂

I bought a 2021 one like this 3 weeks ago for $1600 , it was crashed , front forks snapped and tank dent , i fix it and i have it running now 💯💯🔥 its pretty smooth ,it only had 315 miles on it too .. perfect for a beginner or even for just a cruise or commute.

Just wanted to make everyone aware that Srkcycles did 0-60 tests on the Vulcan S and the XSR700... The Vulcan S was faster, yet everyone says how the Vulcan S doesn't have a lot of power. I also thought the Vulcen S was over priced especially when compared to a Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650. The Super Meteor 650 can come with a windsceen, a passenger deat, passeenger backrest and paseenger foot pegs for about $7500. Where as the Vukcan S you have to buy all theat after you uy the bike for more money. But, would you trust a Royal Enfield as much as you would a Kawasaki? I've owned many bikes since 1967, some were Kwasaki's and every one of them were very dependable and very comfortable. That means a lot to me.

It seems you can't get 61 Bhp out of your mind. sports bike should be over 100bhp?. Go tell that to Barry Sheene if he was still about. There is a race class from 125cc upwards. What is this fixation with Bhp. Its speed that counts and Bhp does not always equal fast. This bike will pass 120 mph and cruise at 100 with ease. What use is 150 mph unless you are on the track? And as for overpriced. What else can you get for that money? Other than that, nice vid.

Is the Vulcan S over priced? YES, but so are a lot of other bikes from Kawasaki these days like the Z650RS. A basic universal Japanese motorcycle and it costs $9000. in the U.S.
Can you buy a less expensive motorcycle? SURE. The Royal Enfield 650 in one. But at all the Royal Enfield dealers I've been they always chanrge a destination fee, and a set up fee which brings the price up to what a Kawasaki cost. At some Kawasaki dealers in my area (Ohio) they will not charge the destination fee or a set up fee making the out the door price about the same as a Royal Enfield 650. But the Kawasaki offers Japanese quailty, and I belive is a much better machine. And it looks much better than a Honda Rebel.
The Kawasaki might cost a little more than some others, but I've NEVER had a bad Kawasaki. I have had trouble with other makes, like Yamaha and I will NEVER own another Yamaha. If you stay with Kawsaki you can't go wrong.

I'm 6'2 200 and it fits me like glove! I got extended everything...Bars,Pegs. & seat. Plus you can adjust the handle bars forward if need be. I love my '22!

This is the only color this bike should come in. Kawasaki has some goofy ass paint schemes

Definitely agree with you. Other colours look cheap. I wouldn't have minded a gloss black but they came with other colours in the black... looked cheap again

I like the Vulcan S but I think the Honda Rebel 1100 makes this bike less relevant. Its considerably more powerful with slightly less weight, and smoother. The higher cost is well worth it.

I've ridden the 1100 Rebel and as much as it's a good bike, it's nothing like the vulcan. Theyre in two different price ranges.
The riding position is totally different. There's no forward controls it's like a cruiser bike that didn't have the balls to go full cruiser. I really like honda but they need to be brave and make bikes that are brilliant. Check out my reviews of the 1100 Rebel, 500 Rebel and the comparison between the 500 and 650

Too much fluff and not enough detail about performance of the bike. Superficial review.

@@RevZolution I did. Why not wait till it IS the Performance edition? BTW, I bought a new 2020 KVS Cafe for $6,900 (£5000), price-out-the-door here in Dallas. Full insurance runs only $27/month. Cheers!

Pretty much a standard Vulcan S without the arrow pipe. But then it’s only a little beginners 650 .....not a sports bike 🙄

I thought you were American for a second there... Aren't you from the land of MGs and Triumphs? That's like saying a GTO is a real sports car! It's all about the handling, my friend. Power is secondary.
